Seasoned Roamer Raiden
why in geneforge you cant choose characters sex and how does he/she look like, like in avernum you can.like you could choose shaper and choose sex and how he/she looks, right now you can only change his color. yea yea my english sucks but try to understand. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Jeff pays an artist for every graphic he orders. Two sexes means twice as many graphics and animations for the player characters, which means paying the artist more.
Magnificent Ornk Swimmin' Salmon
I have it on the highest authority that the Shaper College is segregated. Males are allowed to be either shapers or guardians (because they are smart and strong.) Females may become agents (because they are tricky and nimble.) *this message is not intended to condone the policies of the shaper college*
Magnificent Ornk Drakefyre
Females can be shapers too - but only under cloak of darkness!
Rotghroth Rhapsody Contra
There ARE female shapers. Sharon from G2 is an obviouse example, as are the Purity Officer from Dhonald's Keep.
Well-Actually War Trall Dolphin
Agetha, Lady Anjali, and Litalia are also female Shapers.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Well the shaper graphic is fairly androgynous. I'd be more impressed if you could name a male agent. I can't remember any female guardians, either.
Ineffable Wingbolt I_am_a_Minotaur
In G2 Nora was female but she was the only one.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Contra
Have you not payed attention to the game, Ghaldring? As I previously stated, Sharon was a female Shaper. Nora was a Guardian.
Well-Actually War Trall Dolphin
Ghaldring was responding to Micawber asking about female Guardians.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Contra
Ah, right. ::Chuckles:: Sorry about that then.

Rotghroth Rhapsody Walter
In the illustrations on the ending text it shows you as a female agent no matter what.
Kyshakk Koan Darkdread
And what are the creations that appear in the very initial screen when you load the game? they look like drayks without wings..
Rotghroth Rhapsody Contra
Gee, a drayk without wings. One would guess that it's a..Oh, i don't know; A Fyora?
Well-Actually War Trall Dolphin
In addition to not having wings it has spikes no it's back. The Drayk on the loading screen that is shown while moving between areas has a smooth back. I would guess a Cryoa (since it's more blue than red), but unlike the Fyora/Cryoa it's standing on four legs.
Seasoned Roamer Shilaroud-the-second
I thought they were roamers
Magnificent Ornk Drakefyre
I'm pretty sure that's a roamer.
