Unflappable Drayk adc.
I've maxed out my dexterity and lockpicked the door. When I enter, I get seared like hell. Is there any other way to enter?
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
No. Its not supposed to be enterable.
Unflappable Drayk adc.
I tried to use farsight and look into rache's website. I can see something on the map, but I still can't enter from the main halls and the trash pits. Rache also said it could be enterable if your avernum 3 is corrupted. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There are places that aren't meant to be entered that are filled in on the map. Some parts of the dragon's lairs are the same way at least in the Exile 3 version. Jeff either likes taunting players or at some time planned for players to use the area and changed his mind. Geneforge 4 has a poor trapped gazer in the drakon fortress that Jeff decided not to use and just locked the door.
Easygoing Eyebeast Trenton.
I hated trying to get into the room below the one dragon. Wasn't the name sulfras or something? I almost killed myself with lava! Even with the editor, to get all the keys, None of them worked!
Unflappable Drayk adc.
Have you ever found this on the editor: Press character editor max out all your skills press see abilities max them all out Wait, what are we talking about again? Anyway, I gave you a hint on that imaginary game of MMXPERT's
Well-Actually War Trall Harehunter
Cartographers must needs apply a bit of effort in order to get the whole picture. Not that there is anything useful there; just because it is there. I had fun mapping out the Second Avernum Trilogy. BTW, Mr. NightWatchman, I like your signature. Unflappable Drayk adc.
I just changed my signature recently. Can you please specify?
Ineffable Wingbolt BMA
Speaking of your signature, I see you've quoted the forum's welcome line. Does anyone know who started the custom of greeting new arrivals with that message? (Just curious)
Unflappable Drayk adc.
Hmmmm.... The first time The Mystic replied to my Geneforge 5 mmorpg post, I thought he was trying to insult me. But I'm not the kind of person who fights another one with a keyboard. So, instead, I didn't mind it. Were you also greeted the same way when you were new? Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The greeting use to appear in the old Miscellaneous Forum many years ago.

Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
I'm pretty sure I never got that greeting (although I started posting when A4/5 was out for Windows).
Ineffable Wingbolt BMA
I didn't, either. But then, my first post was in one of those hotly-discussed topics of the time, that nobody had any time to welcome anybody else.
Unflappable Drayk adc.
Mods/high titled members never forget that attitude, did a mod/high titled member greet you?
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Originally Posted By: Nightwatcher But do you actually know who first or started using it? Unflappable Drayk adc.
I know lots of memes, but idk what's a fluffy turtle...
Magnificent Ornk nikki.
That's because it's a meme unique to Spiderweb. I'm not sure how the two become attached, but fluffy turtles are to whom we feed our sanity on the way into SW. The first fluffy turtle, Inspector Peanuts, was a stuffed toy belonging to an older member (Almighty Doer of Stuff). ADoS asked several other members to help name him, and thus introduced the fluffy turtle to the boards.
Seasoned Roamer Xazo-Tak
There are other inaccessibile areas in the game. Such as one mysterious room in the northwest upper level of the filth factory which, judging from repeated walking into walls and casting farsight, is impossible to enter. Perhaps this is how developers troll people.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There should be a way into the room in the northwest unless it is connected to a rubble filled stairway.
Seasoned Roamer Xazo-Tak
Without cheating, I got my mage powerful enough to unlock the door, and the one ahead of it, but, of course, I am still unable to get in.
