  2. He was a sound of thunder. You know he was a very kind man, he loved people: when he was 19 he was very shy with girls not kissing them good night as he'd take them home, one day as he grew old, he met one of the girls he had once loved and once she had taken him for a lift to his house he kissed her, and when the girl asked why, he replied : "this is what I've should have done thirty years ago, " and they had been good friends ever since. He also said "I want wake people up and make them care of being alive in the universe." A Conversation with Ray Bradbury: http://www.francetudiant.com/videos/?v=UU51N2s3B78
  3. The summary on Geneforge one in Wikipedia is better, I propose to to copy paste and ameliorate what was done from there!

Well knowning that the strongest creation in the whole are the drayk series (especially the cryodrayks) you can invest points in fire shaping in the late game. You might also just invest early on in magic shaping for the artila and vlish creations which are quite good by the way.

In any case you'll have to beat the [censored] out of him to get the gloves of the hammer which are quite nice mind you. Either way you'll have to pay the servile: At each teaching session he gives you +1 leadership for 2000 gold pieces. But don't worry there are some really well protected emeralds around the vale provided that you butchered both the neutral (for the moment) ghosts and the hostile cryodrayks. Well you can always read the story and make constructive comments and suggest this or that modification or submit a basic idea for an other fragment. It would make me very happy if someone gave some advice, and at least I'd get some feedback... and it would prevent me from double posting as often as I do. Also I don't consider posting as a way to establish competition despite the forum having a top Poster section. 8. Impracticable for Jeff but it'd be nice anyway.

  11. And the home page has been updated: http://geneforgeremaker.webs.com/
  12. Two drafts have been released: http://geneforgeremaker.webs.com/apps/blog/entries/show/15563630-the-road http://geneforgeremaker.webs.com/apps/blog/entries/show/14798012-the-great-labs Good reading!
  13. Well these games are quite rich actually, so being slow and thorough is no flaw here! It's not Angband...
  14. @Aethir don't you read? Since when in G1 was a servile, sorcerer and livecrafter classes ever existed? I'd be a nice idea to change the stat point chart of course, with anatomy being reintroduced, being both an offensive and a healing craft factor.
  15. Working really hard and managed to build a little surprise for everyone; you know how spiderweb games have sorely needed some publicity over the years? Well it's not much but I hope you'll like it: http://geneforgeremaker.webs.com/ http://polandpact.deviantart.com/gallery/26258413#/d2wlkbb

The problem is with Sholai warriors and Mages like Masha present on Terrestia, Sholai present during the events of G1, how comes it then that Trajkov is still seen as an opponent to shaping? Even if it's not really Trajkov anymore, so Why specifically Trajkov? Have we any details on how the Trajkovites perceive Trajkov as a revolutionary figure? And for as for the Shapers being an always corrupt and self serving regime... has anyone evil claimed he was doing evil things just for evil? No, they do it out of good intentions. No matter the intentions or spiritual inner truths you have it's what you do who defines who you are (this is why violence in videogames is so abhorred by society in general, because it shows the truth of today's common man, a barbaric sadist unconcerned by the Geneva conventions, perhaps extremely cooperative and greatly "influencable" in the sense you experience the full might of the cadre of semi liberty which is so repressive in our society; social studies have shown that people are "sheepish" when given the illusion of choice, making the path they take their own and only their own, while usually one openly rebels when coerced. This is also why Bioshock 1's "would you kindly" plot is so shocking, because the whole game's ideology corner stone is choice, choice placed in a very coercive environment; for example, the player thinks he is free to do as he pleases choosing his weapons when in fact every thing is scripted, from the wall to the water and that you are coerced by Atlas and Rayan to play cards in Rapture betting up big daddies and molesting little sisters.) The shapers have always claimed to work for the security of everyone, and this is how they gave themselves the power to abuse everyone around them and to delve into everybody' else's affairs. It's not that they are already corrupt, it's just that their ideology leads to nullify their ideals of security and welfare for everyone.
  17. I started working on Masha and here's the beginning of it: "Every second is a make believe myth that there is an ultimate answer to one's libido." -Fabrice Luchini http://geneforgeremaker.webs.com/apps/blog/show/12891748-masha

How do you explain the mythical version of him then?
  19. Oh you're the guy from Youtube! Welcome! I have a question though, I know you didn't do any walkthrough of the greater temple, sentinels region and my question is will you do it one day or any other?

Knowing that the Awakened where a bunch of "the ends justify the means" serviles in the first Geneforge and that the Trajkovites are a "Communist" sect descending from the Takers and manipulated by either rebel or Shaper spies as were eco-groups and anti A-bombs groups were in the 1950s, 60, 70s and 80s by Moscow, I think it's safe to say that most of Geneforge's fractions are in a sense a "dirty dozen". I agree with certain Marxist thinkers (like S.Zizek) and the historian George Moss (who wrote the intellectual roots of the III reich) that racism is a means to hinder any real political change, hence why perhaps the shapers are portrayed or at least hinted to be racist: "their strange features disgusts you." -southbridge G1 Also was not hiding the Geneforge as they did whithout any planning for proper evacuation and leaving it alone without any form of proper protection so as to revert back to crude shaper methods instead of splicing genes, the end of the shaper empire hey days and a sign of decay?
