  1. I rarley if ever name my creations (mostly because I forget to) When I do I always name them fluffems
  2. they are trying to wipe out the shapers and all those loyal to them. I think that qualifies. Heck they are the ones who released the unbound. Knowingly escalating an already bloody war to our equivalent of a nuclear war. The shapers didn't want that. The drakons are just as bad as the shapers and worse then humans on the whole. lets have a run down what humans can do vs what drakons can do Humans---------------------------Drakons can shape------------------------can shape can fight------------------------can fight can lead-------------------------can lead can grow crops-------------------ummm can sweep floors-----------------ummm countless other mundane tasks----ummm quite simply the only reason the drakons haven't killed of the human side of the rebellion despite their almost universal disdain for humans is they still need them. If the drakons were to when the war their treatment of humans would grow worse and worse (sounds familiar) because then they could get away with it. Sounds familiar huh. Also many disgruntle sevirls, drayks, and cryodrayks, have commented that the drakons are simply the new shapers. Every crime the shapers have done has been equaled or outmatched by the drakons.
  3. I like a stalemate thing. with a twist. Something has been discovered the first one to utilize it to its full degree wins. Your character somehow manage to get in on it.
  4. I would like the shaper ending. How it would go is the rebels and shapers found a lot of new land(not sholi) which both are in a race to colonize the new lands. The lands are crucial for 2 reasons. One the shapers can use the lands as a stageing point to attack the Ashen isles since they are closer and the water between the ashen islands and the new lands aren't as rough. You start off shaper who was in school but was pulled out to help with the war effort. If you choose to join the rebels you move slowly up through the ranks till you push the shapers out of the new lands. Once you do that you do that head to the ashen islands were you are tested and eventually give the rank of general with an army to match. You then launch a campaign on the shapers which destroys the high council and in the ends crushes the shapers. If you choose to remain loyal to the shapers it pretty much remains the same execpt you sever the shapers. You move through the ranks till you successfully gain the lands the shaper needs. Then you head to the high counsel you are tested and given the rank of general and you then launch an assault to retake the ashen islands. the only thing is th is world would be much larger then any other Geneforge world.

  6. I think the G5 should involve using some uberpowerful Genefore.Like the one in G1 not the pathetic wannabes of G2-4. It should end the way it started(at least it some ways). This game should end the saga. Either the Shapers crushing the rebellion for ever and making another rebellion unlikely in all but the most distance future. The Rebellion human side were the shapers are crush and a fair balanced goverment is setup. Rebellion Drakon side drakon are in charge suckers. Then of course the trakovites. Lastly we should have some type of faction that is powerhungry.
  7. I like to the wild shaping Idea as well. Although I prefer making a creation moving it else were then releasing it. Where it will attack anything. so make a eyebeast move it to an safe distance release it recharge essences repeat. Then make a battle beta put a huge amount of endurance into and buff. Get all the eye beast/other rouges you made. Chasing it to the uber powerful enemy you want to fight. Wait a minute or 2 and come in and mop everything up
  8. to be honest I always picked the shaper/lifecrafter because of the orginal shaper grahpic.

  10. I pefer fire and magic. I use magic for hevy hitting and I have a fire in case of a long duration battle which would drain the energy of magic creations. Fire also doubles for melee.
  11. If only geting flamed worried any more. I have seen it be fore in games. Where the resource files were sperate for the game engine. Admitly the makers of the game came half way when it came to editing as the posted a rudimenry guide and evinventuall some editors were produced. Prehaps Jeff could just make Geneforge 5 like he does all the other Geneforges and then come back later and g ive us some kind of guide as how to edit the code to make our own seneraios.
  12. or prehaps just but the code concerning the seneraio in a file that is editable but not neccarly cattered to being editable. At the very most giveing them some kind of guide as to how to edit it if Jeff ever finds the free time.
  13. What I'm propasing is just make all files dealing with the seneriao editable/readable for any aspiring seneriao editors. Essinatly I'm just asking for it to be made possible and let anyone who trys find for themself.
  14. I like a lot of people would like to see a Blades of Geneforge. However I have every time some made this suggestion I have seen other people list at least half a dozen good reasons why its not going happen. My idea is that when makeing Geneforge 5 is that Jeff not go out of his way to make a Blades of Geneforge but place the seneraio data in one folder. If we wanted a differen't seneraio we simply take those files out and replace them with the player created seneraio files. just program the game engine to only excpet the orginal files till it has been registered. I admit I hardly know anything about programing. However I have seen this done with other games, which I'm not going to name because I don't like advertising a non spiderweb game on the the spiderweb forums.
  15. I would like to see the shapers come up with a new recruiting system since they are running low on members. Prehaps an expansion on the appertinace role.
  16. how about the abilty to do more variants. Like a healing vilsh, a sting clawbug, or guardian roamer. However to make variant not only would you need the 3 levels for that creations but you need to find the knowledge to do so canister/book. Also have it were you can grow some creations in a vat, have it take a while (some type of trigger or timmer). The advantage is that vat grow creations cost less essence. You wouldn't need a base you just need a freindly shaper/rebel lab that grants you the permission to grow creations in that vats. You could also make it were only certian vats can grow certain creations.
  17. One thing I like to see is shapers simply doing a recuritment drive since they are low on shapers. Say like you attach an appertince to a shaper going off to war said shaper trains him will both are fighting in war. When shaper thinks the appertince quailfys as a shaper then he sends appertince off to get resigned and apply for a new shaper as soon as he heads to base next.

  20. serviles pretty much got shaped into creation. as far as pre shapers civilations. Some where it said that they where either asrobed or conquered. It was implied that it happend over a long persiod of time. so while it was violent I didn't happen quickly.

  22. It would be near to have your own base. I could understand if we have minimal customaztion capablitys buy it still be ours.

  24. I heard he was on crack. To be honest it doesn't.All that matters now is the lesson we learned from WW2. What did we learn from WW2 and do we apply those lessons today?
