So did I for that matter, but it is certainly an incentive now. I became a mod because Stareye asked me, and how do you say no to Stareye?
  2. This was 10 years ago, but it most likely still applies today. One of my sisters went to a PA state school and paid in-state rates. My other sister went to a prestigious private school in Canada and paid less even at the international student rate.

    Excalibur: Ooooooohh. Thank Slarty!
(You would have seen Windows 3.1 in 1993. By 1998, you would be seeing a lot of Windows 95 and Windows 98.)
  4. I can't speak for other states, but the in-state rate for public universities in Pennsylvania is a little more than $8,000 per annum. This is just tuition and various and sundry fees though. Housing, food, books, etc will add considerably more to this amount.

I'm fairly certain the big issue there was scripts and articles rather than the scenarios themselves.

The name Sturg is vaguely familiar, but I don't remember him as part of SV. There is no member by that name on the SV archive.
  7. If a trip will take me more than 10-15 minutes to walk, I will usually ride my bike. I enjoy long walks, but if I am specifically trying to go somewhere rather than just going out for a walk, I am more likely to bike. For what it's worth, the longest bike trip I've done was about 90 miles.
