Sylae watches Eph scare kids away from his lawn. Kelandon's the first to crack. Well, other than the inaugural suicides. Goldengirl. . . . . . Probably regrets her benevolence. I don't know what *i did, but it was apparently pretty terrifying. Excalibur continues his muder spree. Kel just can't handle murder today, I suppose. I'm in a posse! ELEVEN TRIBUTES REMAIN
  2. Can't Bekora control her valkyries from afar? She could get the ship to pick her and Leila back up. If there's really nothing for them to do there.

SoT is a very nice person that I promise I will kill mercifully. Tyran, though. . . Tyra is keeping it real. I guess Diki was fasting for about a month beforehand, which seems to have been a poor tactic. Trenton could have taken a page from Lilith or Tyra's books, but a kill is a kill. Sylae mistakes the Games for a cartography competition. Excalibur's bloodlust, meanwhile, is terrifying. THIRTEEN TRIBUTES REMAIN

Well, there's only 24 slots. I tried to make a mix of current posters and long-time members and prominent personalities. Plus myself.

Me and Lilith win a melee, Slarty pays the ultimate price for his extravagant flaunting of "supplies", and *i is adorable. Air drops are popular today, I guess to make up for everyone running away from the cornucopia without taking anything. SEVENTEEN TRIBUTES REMAIN

You certainly have your sniper rifle, Alo. It was decided you could keep it, for religious reasons. You're just too fair-minded to use it in the competition.

SO BEGIN THE FIRST SPIDERWEB GAMES So that's a bit of a mess. Four people immediately kill themselves, which is a strange way to play. Nine people just immediately run away without grabbing any supplies at all. Four people fight over bags, of all things, and two of them also end up with nothing. SoT and Lilith have probably got the right idea here.

  9. If that were the case, I'd expect a looot less "people are terrible" as the take-home moral and a lot more "government is terrible".
  10. Zombies don't seem to serve much of a metaphorical purpose anymore. These days, it's all about how desperate people are bad. You could mostly replace zombies with any natural disaster without it meaning anything different.
  11. So does the Walking Dead, actually. Everyone's already infected, and anyone who dies becomes a zombie.
  12. This is my hematite egg. One day, it will hatch into another, larger, more intricate chunk of hematite. I don't know what kind of rock this is, but it's very black and mostly spherical. I stole it from the Smithsonian.
  13. It's not the first time I've seen an almost complete copy of that game format over the years, actually. I had a mobile game that did the exact same thing four or five years ago. I guess it's just a relatively easy idea to get.
  14. Man. It's been a while since we got such a straightforward troll.
  15. Who knows, maybe it took the inventor of Fireblast even longer to come up with it than X's anvil.
  16. They don't talk, but they do make squeaking noises. Apparently you can tell if they're distressed squeaks.
  17. I will also be voting for Sylae, then.
  18. Sarachim stated his voting intentions first, for the person with the least suspicious claims and the most forthright attitude, and was then immediately followed by two also-suspicious and far cagier others he was supposedly clashing with. Now, what does that look like but the end of a ploy for the spies to seem unassociated with each other, and then have several of the most active members in the thread converge on a scapegoat, leading both those who did and did not believe in the Empire's story to vote for an innocent. I am unsure whether or not Sarachim is a spy, I admit - but then, none of us are sure of anything but the spies. As I've said: we need a united vote among the Avernites, and it has to be for Sarachim, Excalibur, or Sylae.
  19. Three of the most suspicious people in the game voting together now. . . Fellow Avernites, I urge you to not vote for Triumph, and we need to be a united voting bloc to prevent that. I personally find Sarachim the most suspicious at the moment, but if there's a greater consensus for Excalibur or Sylae, I will join it.
  20. Sylae has not actually claimed to have had her role changed - she would have no way of knowing that - only Excalibur says that that happened.
