Guys, I've just registered GF3 2 days ago, and I went to that factory place to shut it down. I've been into the main place and destroyed the four power crystals, but it STILL isn't offline. How do I clear that zone? - Archmagus Micael

Most of the decent things are already in the Avernum TrSeries.Geneforge series and Avernum series are too difffrent from one anotehr to really work properly. Sorry if my post is a bit weird and garbled, but I can;t actually SEE waht I'm typing (I'm havg computer problems) SO yeah, I went for leadership (which could influence rep maybe somehow, and what i definitely don't want is to take the outdoors away. It;'s an intregal part of Avernum.Exile, and NEEDS to reamin. - Micael

Make backup of your GF2 Prefs file, and any saves you have, and tehn uninstall GF2. Reinstall it, and copy your registered prefs file over the default one. With any luck, it'll fix your problem. - Archmagi Micael

I don't think this makes any difference, but go to PREFERENCES, and also select the Fewer Sounds option as well as the No Sounds option. I once had something similar, and this seemed to fix it. Do this before actually playing the game etc. Anyway, that sound error normally only coms up when your sound system is already being used. Maybe you can just stop that from happening? - Archmagi Micael

That is the error that most Spiderweb games calls up when there's a problem with Graphics. Have you got the latest Nvidia Drivers (or whatever else you use)? If you don't : Get them, that will hopefully fix your problem. Also, I think there was another problem recently with the drips in the Menu section. It's not that old, you should be able to find the topic. If I can, I'll find it and post a link. EDIT: Here was the other Topic which contains a similar problem. Yes. There are secret passages which allow you toenter the Bandit Base. Watch out though, there are hidden booby traps everywhere, whiuch if you set off... Well, you kinda get the picture. Use your scrying spell (forgotten what it's called), and go through the passages. - Archmagi Micael

Guys, I need some grpahics for characters and stuff. I managed (just about) to make walls and stuff, but I'm no good at characters. I need the graphics for: A guard, An Archer, A Crossbowman, A soldier with sword, A soldier with pike, An Elite Soldier (My version of an Empire Dervish). Knight Cavalier (stronger looking picture of knight) Paladin (Stronger looking picture of Cavalier) The lower classes, soldiers and archers and guards do not wear metal armour and shields etc, the best they can hope for is leather and wood. The Upper classes, knights, elite soliders, cavaliers and paladins all wear metal armour and shields etc. I hope someone is willing to make these graphics. Also, these people should have this symbol burnsihed onto their shields (or carved if wooden shields, for lower classes). SYMBOL: Sorry if you can't see the image. It's a bmp file. Well, If you download stuff daily and so on, it's probably one of them which messed it up. But you're lucky. On Win XP, you can restore previous system drivers settings and stuff. The system restores it automatically every time you install something, or change the registry. You can just restore... (I would advise restoring on the Day that you know it worked last.) (before restoring manually make a backup of your current settings with the restore wizard, so if it doesn't work, you can just come straight back to where you were) Hope this helps you, but I've got to get some sleep now, so I can't help anymore today. - Archmagi Micael
