  1. True, true, but there are smart and dumb humans too. P.S. Would people PLEASE spell my name correctly?
  2. Actually, Spring, I believe that troglos ARE as smart as humans. They are literate (see Castle Troglo's library), and, though some of them don't talk well, neither do some humans. Vothkaro spoke perfectly. You can't say that beings of small intelligence could cast spells well, or devise that machine in the basement. However, they come from an incredibly violent society. Most lessons wold be about combat, not fine culture. They direct their intelligence towards war. Also, they have managed to form bipartisan (military and religion) bickering. If you need to see a sentient race of inferior intelligence, just see the Hill Giants!
  3. Slimes: I imagine that the slime zombies came from ANY dead human (or even a real zombie). Also, it says in the game that the slimes' real danger was in numbers. Plus the Alien Slime seems to have carefully planned many of the attacks (destroy the shipyard so nobody can flee, attack the government, use the secret way into town, and get the healer) Roaches: Definetly the disease factor. Plus the fact that they could conquer the sewers to take raids from below. Troglodytes: They're as intelligent as humans, so they can cunningly plan attacks. Giants: They tend to attack from afar first, so the humans have less of a chance of killing them. Golems: Obvious, as even a party of Level 50 characters has only a slight advantage against them. Alien Beasts: Between their strength and the fact that their lair was in the Keep of Tinaraya, obvious.
  4. I intended to capture a dragon, but apparently it was too big. Also, I wanted to capture the Mind Crystal, but it resisted my Level 50 character!! (I figured anything that big of a pain in the neck had to be good) Also, I haven't tried it, but I want to capture Rentar-Ihrono. After all, what would pulverize enemies better than an army of insanely powerful, completely invulnerable creatures?
  5. What statues? Greendale has no statues (maybe it did once, but if so, the golems destroyed them)
  6. Actually, you can take a boat trip to Lost Isle, then use the special encounters to be taken to the basilisk isle.
  7. I meant the passage from the treasure room into the corridor that leads to the crystal. I have complete maps of all areas, but I can't find the entrance.
  8. At what coordinates is the secret passage?
  9. My party: Gorank-Slith (with flaming hand) Erika II-Human (with red robes) Prrrrrr-Nephil (with flaming hand) Adrianna, Feodric, and Michael (from the original setup) I give them all the good traits and no bad ones, and I use the editor to max out all their stats and give them all spells (It's not as unfair as you'd think. Golems are still hard as heck to get rid of.) Edit: Sorry if I revived a dead topic, I thought the last post was in July, not June.
  10. I entered the tomb and slew Vahkohs, but I can't get to the crystal with his soul! Please help!
  11. Yes, Buppy, you can get to that in the unregistered game. The Spiral Crypt is in the woods on the Isle of Bigail. (NOT the northern part with Northpoint Lighthouse, you can't go that far north in the unregistered version)
  12. Personally, I note which ones do what, and then figure it out. By the way, I noticed that one of the words there-"Mung"-is used A LOT in Exile. Mung Slimes (not the plague slimes), Mung Roaches, Mung Rats, Mung Demons-what does "Mung" mean, anyway?
  13. That can be arranged easily. For example, the Filth Factory Robo-Roach could be armored with the Withered Scales, and be guarding the central breeding pit, (I imagine it only being stunned, but you throw in the Phoenix Egg and it melts from the quickfire), the Monty Python Altar could say the Knowledge Brew recipe when it dies, the illusion could be using the Black Halberd as a weapon, etc.
  14. My problem was fixed! As a reccomendation to adventurers who have my problem, you need to E-Mail Jeff the new registration codes.
  15. Is the Generic Dungeon an Exile 3 dungeon, or does it mean any dungeon? P.S.: If my sig theft is bad, that's a good thing. P.P.S: I imagine the Alien Beast boss to be an enormous, 16-legged monster called the Alpha Centauri Male.
