Well-Actually War Trall Acky
Who do you think was harder to kill, Redmark or Dorikas -The Dragon Lord sees a gremlin playing a game in the corner. He asks it if it wants to play a game. If he wins, hes the Dragon Lord. If he loses, he dinner. The Gremlin fell down and got so excited he laugh himself to death. Unflappable Drayk Toby-Linn
I've only played the Dorikas ending so far, but I thought he was pretty hard! It was a long fight too. When I replay the game I'll join Dorikas and then I'll be able to tell you which was harder.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
They are about the same, but they need different tactics. Dorikas is a running battle once you start the attack. Redmark is a series of small fights to reach him and requires more spell energy since it takes longer to get there. Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
I have no idea. I was going to fight Redmark with my party before the XP fried. I once fought him with a god party. Dorikas died faster with it!
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
I killed Dorikas and I must say he was pretty hard, even without his bodyguards. It was one of the few battles I really had to strain myself to complete. Alas, its one of the few flaws in Jeffs games. I'm just not challenged seriously in the vast majority of fights. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
You know there's an adjustable difficulty setting, right? When you find the game easy on Torment, then you can complain.

Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
On my first play through, I killed Dorkias, and he was very hard, and I did it on Casual/Normal, can't remember which. On second, I played torment after using editor on my characters and killed Redmark, but even so, I think that if I didn't do that and played on the same level, Redmark would still have been easier. Understated Ur-Drakon Callie
Dorikas is really easy to kill: you just have to trap him in a corner (he's also pretty easy to lure).
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
Maybe, but since he's running away while casting fear, thats a little hard for me. What I found works is you go in backwards, kill all his servents in the rooms beyond him, then go over to him, start the battle, and use the wand of death, and when he runs away, I don't end the battle, then I catch up, use the wand of death again, he runs, I catch up, and then I finally kill him with the wand of death. Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
It is best to kill all possible Loyalists in Dorikas castle before starts fight with Dorikas.
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
Exactly. It's not fun when Dorkias runs, you turn around a corner, and there are ten other enimies waiting for you.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
nope, its just quick way to get killed.
Unflappable Drayk Toby-Linn
I also killed everybody in the castle before confronting Dorikas. That's the best way in my opinion.
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
The first(and only) time I killed Dorikas, I didn't kill any of his soilders. I did this for a senematic effect. For me, at least, this makes the end-game much cooler. Also, I'm no coward The Last Archon
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
How's killing his people before you battle Dorkias cowardly? It's the easies way to survive, and besides, you still have to kill his people in the last part he runs to since you can't go there earlier. Well-Actually War Trall Acky
You don't get that feeling? That incredible rush you get when you charge in head first and defeat your opponunts when they're at full power? I play games that way. It makes it all the more fun for me. Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
Yeah... but unless I'm cheating or playing a different game or going against opponents a lot weaker than me, that usually doesn't happen. I usually die when I do that.
Well-Actually War Trall Acky
No offense, but then you aren't building your characters right.
Ineffable Wingbolt Øther
Probably not, but then, when I was making playing, I hadn't seen the forums yet, and my character at least worked, so I used it and didn't bother with trying other builds out. Something I liked to do is that I would ( cheating or not) save, and then randomly attack a town to see how tough they were and if they would throw any hidden surprises out at me.
