Curious Artila Aeden
I am new to this series and bought the game from the App Store. So far I am loving it and it brings back those old Ultima days. Anyway, I have a question about skills and abilities that is probably simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. I put several points in the Fireball skill with Nathalie. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to actually use this. When I try to use an ability or add it to the quickbar, the Fireball isn't there. So my question is simple: How do I use a Fireball? Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Fireball is the Sorceress' basic attack skill. If you have her rod or staff selected as her currently used weapon, she'll use it by default when you click on an enemy in combat.
Curious Artila Aeden
Ah thanks, that makes sense now I look at all the first tier left column skills
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
Equip bow too since there are many fireimmune enemies.
Unflappable Drayk Death Knight
Ive got a quick question about shamans. With the 3rd passive skill nature mastery, it says that it boosts your blessing and curse skills. Does that mean that blessings last longer or give more damage boosts? Hatchling Cockatrice Aoslare
Only the former.
Seasoned Roamer Doggie
Related Question: There are many recommendations to "pump" attributes. Are there any limits to the distribution. Eg, it seems that if melee characters need strength and dexterity and also need endurance (they all need endurance?) they won't get much intelligence even if they both do magic? Are there minimums? Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You gain every 4 levels one of each of the 4 attributes: strength, dexterity, intelligence, and endurance. The only time you need minimums is to equip armor and weapons. Once they are equipped you no longer need the minimum. Fighters don't need intelligence. Especially since they are likely to suffer from mental attacks anyway since more intelligent characters do to.
Seasoned Roamer Doggie
Thanks once more.

Shiva tends to get quite easily charmed (or used to since no cahrmers since Mor's tower) and sometimes all three are (were) under daze or paralyzed. Are there minimums? Melee characters don't do magic, except with the aid of scarabs. Fortunately, offensive scarab damage is based on Dexterity for both BM and SW. Seasoned Roamer Doggie
Thank you. Both. Turtle: Does that mean that even at level 30 BM and SW need no added magic points? (Other than the ones the game generates?) Sorry if these seem really ignorant questions, I am in my 70's and this is my first try at games like this. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
That is correct. You don't need to add any Intelligence to either class, and you couldn't add magical skills if you wanted to. Not without cheating, anyway. Seasoned Roamer Doggie
Many thanks. This is all totally new to me and your help and the forum in general are keeping me in the game. It has taken me weeks and a lot of help to get thru the Titan Peaks quest on casual, but now I think I am getting close to being able to fly on my own and move on and up. I love this game! But I would have bailed long ago without the kind of help I have been getting, especially from you, randomizer and Lilith . Thanks again. Easygoing Eyebeast Jerakeen
Don't mention it. More happy Spiderwebbers = more sales for Jeff = more and better Spiderweb games for everyone. Yay!
Seasoned Roamer Doggie
I get it, but I am still grateful. (When I was in college in the 60's we would have said, " I can grok it.") But thanks anyway, your posts have helped me a lot. Bye.
