Unflappable Drayk ĐªгŦĦ Єяŋϊε Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 i see that all the strange foods are back. so far i picked up bread, rolls, a single egg and two cakes. i wonder what else there is...... bread seems common as compared to avernum but i never saw an egg before! cake though i only saw 2. i think A6 also had only two. it is always enjoyable finding all sorts of mundane items besides for the weapons and armor littering the place. Ineffable Wingbolt Arch-Mage Solberg Posted May 27, 2011 Share Posted May 27, 2011 The only eggs I remember from the Exile/Avernum series are the GIFTS eggs and Fire Lizard eggs from E2/A2. These were not food however. Maybe there might have been an egg (Easter Egg egg?) in E3/A3? Maybe someone else here might know of that. However, there is no weird meat, as there was in Avernum, nor ornk meat as in Geneforge, so I suppose we can say that there isn't really a return to the weird food yet. Curious Artila Shadowplay Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 You can get the following food items: Big mushroom Three small mushrooms Egg Fish Dried meat Meat with bone Biscuit Bread Cake Generally I like them because they effectively do a small bit of regeneration on your character if you move up to 2 squares before eating and attacking. If you can figure out how to take damage slowly enough, or regenerate most of the damage you're taking, you can use food to replenish the rest.
