If you would want to be powerful, try using Ganduv's script editor. Or try using the cheats by pressing Shift+D and typing shieldsup for every battle. If you don't want the cheats, try going to podling crossroads, kill the nearby drayk, and get the canister. It is a great start for you, regardless of the drayk creation being "barred" by the shapers

When I played Geneforge 1-3, I said to myself: this is quite a great RPG. But when it comes to a talking person (not the one in a conversation. What I meant was the phrases above their heads), it lags. Especially on Geneforge 2, the experimental valley lags so much when I'm going to disable the traps. Is there anyway to stop it? My system is LG netbook X140 with intel atom, windows 7 starter and not for games.

Plan for 20 rogues: Positioned 2 of my roamers at a nearby boulder. I readied my magic at a safe distance in front of the cave. My remaining 2 roamers will spit acid as many as they can on the cave. Surely, the pack will chase my roamers and lure it to me. I will use my current magic which is Ice spray to the rogues. Then my 2 clawbugs will pinch the remaining undamaged rogues. The 2 roamers near the boulder will then, jump and finish off the remaining rogues... You declare the winner...

I have successfully able to shape shapers. But it looks really awkward for a shaper to be a servant. So, I renamed it shaper mercenary instead. You can find these in one of my creation madness posts
