  1. Exile was in Kids page?!
  2. Hmmmm... Ask SuperBa, he's around here somewhere... Oh and yes, Welcome to Spiderweb Software, please emancipate/leave any remaining sanity at the door. You are welcome to take it back if there is any remaining...
  3. Yeah, Spiderweb Software has randomly put their games on many applications. That happened the same to me when we bought 15 demos of a game in a CD for 5$. I discovered Avernum/Exile 1 on that CD, but I can't understand English very well yet, so I didn't play it for many years...
  4. It works good, it's still a bit laggy, but I'm satisfied with it.
  5. The topic is: Where did you first found one of Spiderweb Software's games? This topic is very interesting and fun. I would like to share my answers here and I also would like to hear others answers, and you can also see others answers... ================= My sister had a Wildtanget application on her HP netbook. I got none, so I looked for games there, first I chose a genre, I pressed adventure. Then they were arranged from A-Z. It was pretty tiring having to scroll down then press the next letter. So I was almost giving up when I reached "G". Then I saw this picture: He looked more like an magic-casting assassin which was a class which I really loved to combine in RPG games. I pressed it and sae that you can make "an army of horrible, mutant creatures". I began to like it. When I've downloaded it, I played it. My parents are really strict about violence and stuff. We had a few games back that time, so I really appreciate even with those graphics. I played the game, then I've become addicted. I played all demos on Wildtanget until the release of Geneforge 5. After playing the last of the demo on Geneforge 5, I wondered: Maybe their site has more greater games than this. So the next day, I typed Spiderweb software at google.co.uk . Then I figured out that I already once played Avernum/Exile 1 on when it was 2003. I started to remember the memories I had with this game until it was forgotten. I also played all Avernum demos that I could find. One day, when I was at 6th grade, I graduated with a 2nd honorable mention. My dad was so happy that he actually bought me AV3 and Geneforge 5 on my netbook (I really liked geneforge 5 that I hacked my screen resolution to play it). As I finished a single part on both games, I went into the forums and signed up without my parents knowing it... ======= How about you? What's your story?

Have you remembered the pickaxe in geneforge? Wait, maybe you're not a geneforge player... Anyway, pickaxe and shovel is pretty useless in Geneforge, but I modified the script, turning it into a monster blade with 500-1500 damage range!!! For the shovel, It fires diamond spray unlimited. But when I'm bored, I play minecraft with my god-mode tools. Sanity liberation!
  7. Maybe other mega complex RPGs have that, like you must train before being a mage, soldier, medic etc. I think it must be fun being college. And because RPGs focus more on the story and university is not actually a place of battle. Wait, ever heard a game called Bully? maybe that's what your looking for...
  8. My brother had finished all Avernum games except for BoA and Avernum Escape from the pits. I also watch him while he finishes AV3. When he went to the guarded tunnel, I can't remember any doomguards (or maybe I wasn't watching him that time), all I can remember is somwthing invisible. But I'm pretty sure there is one....
  9. I mean, even in battles, when I get hit (or when I hit), a two-digit number comes out of their heads then it lags. It's not really a problem to me when it comes to battles. All I want is to finish this experimental valley...
  10. Hmmm... haven't been there yet. But it's included
  11. Most obvious doomguard locations on AV3: Erika's Tower The middle of The Great Barrier
  12. Oh, new arrival eh? Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please completely emancipate/leave your sanity at the door. You are welcome to take it back if there is still one remaining...
  13. Nearby a shaper regiment/army... After building the tunnel (wow, that was so fast)... I killed the 2 outsiders. They might spread or sell the news to somebody else.
  14. Ah. Yes. doomguards. What Monster used to say: Quote: "You don't have to rely on other people if you never miss." -Monster (my former master) It can't hit you with missile weapons. But it is very time-consuming if you just keep shooting missiles on it. If Avernum escape from the pits were available on windows, I'll try to lower it's resistances...

  16. Oh... now I get it. Staying at town, hmmm... why don't I help the shapers instead? I hired 2 armed outsiders to become managers of a secret underground passage...
  17. Ummm... wait, so what am I supposed to do know? I mean my nest next task?
  18. What's my next task? Also, rank check please (example, Monster is now a shaper scout or Monster is now a commander)...
  19. I'll tell man 1 that they can make graveyards themselves on their backyard. ========== I'll ask man 2 to tell me the nearest farsight cubicle around the area. (if there is one, open the spoiler) Click to reveal.. I absorbed my previous creation and made 4 terror vlishes, 2 plated clawbugs and 2 pyroamers. The plan: I sent my 2 pyroamers to scout the area, (surely, they don't know how to start a conversation in English, so I need to know what they see) by using the huge farsight crystal. After several minutes, I saw some spawners nearby the fields on a concealed trash pit. Sent my pyroamers to suicide there and to damage the rogues. Now, I sent my recent creations to destroy the spawner(s). And told the guards to watch the town more tightly. Spawners are obviously created by the rebels. Anyway, who won? ========= I'll tell man 3 to pay me a mere amount of 60 coins for the creations and another amount of 20 coins for the tools. If he accepted the offer: I will shape him 3 thahds and keep the 20 coins and scavenged the trash pits for useful farming tools.
  20. I know it's not a food, but when I saw the game features, I was drooling with excitement...
  21. Correct... Good Sir... I'm still waiting for MMXPERT...
  22. He died again? *facepalm* I should have been a medic...
  23. I just read this whole post and how I LOLed at the batman symbol part... It's really a fun thing as being a gamemaster, but it's a great responsibilty. Try making BMA's or Trenton's game a little bit random (if you wanted to, don't just make my game like that, I'm really serious about my stuff at games), it's really funny that I'm dying of laughter .

  25. Here we go again Everyone who reads this post should also read this: This is just for fun, no one is actually gonna make it. I was just giving away some ideas *throws random cake sprinkles* whoosh! whoosh! yay! ideas for the next-geneforge-game! yum yum yum! I have completely lost my sanity. I'm not angry, In fact, I'm just happy. In simpler words: Just some random ideas and disregard this message except "Just some random ideas"...
