  1. Wait, what? Come again! I need the spec_item codes for the 5 brooches!!! It's like a living hell entering/exiting tolls, gates and stuff. I only got one from Pyrog!
  2. So you've found a portal pylon in Erika's? --------- Tell me, where is it? I'll try it and see for my self
  3. Lilith took most of the good answers. But I have a few. ------------- Somewhere between GF4 and GF5, on the loading screen, it was shown that the wingbolt's base creature was from bats. And obviously, it was the story and the game that mattered... Or maybe the animals were somewhere else...
  4. Well, I found out the code of the reputation and began using it like a madman. Quote: begintalknode; state = 37; nextstate = 41; question = "_I want rep!!!_"; text1 = "_LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL HERE YOU GO!!! LOLOLOLOLOL_"; code = change_reputation(10); break; seems fine... So my current reputation is 53, True Hereos
  5. So, I've been messing with the scripts. I was planning to tweak something that should enable me to discuss the quests. I saw a variable named get_prestige. What's that? --------------- Or, How do I get the quest to kill Hawthorne from Erika? She keep saying that I should go and venture out?
  6. Wait, wait, wait. Can you clarify it again? (Thats ridiculous, I haven't heard of a lich guardian in Skarragath...) Or do you mean the skeleton sentinel at the wheel? (A bit of a Spoiler) Ok heres how you do it... -Get out of Skarragath -Download this:<http://www.mediafire.com/?tzczu11jd1xz665> -replace it with your current dialogue (you may ask me again on how to replace it) -If the town is friendly again, proceed to the next step -ask the sentinel on the eastern building -ask him about the gate -you will see a wheel just nearby left -turn the wheel -kill them all -proceed to the northeastern side and to Grah-hoth's prison
  7. So... the flag things are what now? Are they items or special items?
  8. Sdf's... hmmm... have been hearing about that since I started tinkering with Geneforge scripts... I used to disregard those things... and yet, now I need to check it out. What is a/an sdf?
  9. Trial and Error. I get that rarely.
  10. Alright, so... at an example, I just want to create a simple town WITHOUT giving quests, no dialogue pictures, no special stuff, just those simple talking dialogues. Where do I start? What variables will I use? Quote: Those are variables. Basically, a variable (in this instance) is a number referred to by a name, just like in algebra. They're used when you have a number you want to change, or for numbers you don't yet know the value of. As for an example of how you might use them, say I wanted to reduce the HP of a party member by 10%. I couldn't possible know what the PC's full health is initially, so I would use a call to find out, and then store the result in a variable. Using that variable, I could then apply the correct math (multiplying by 0.9) to reduce the party member's health. Then, I can use any letters then instead of the familiar i,j,k,r1. Another question: How do I use them? Are they required for quests and anything relevant? ----------- I think they're not on the docs. Or maybe I skipped them... Can't tell which, just inform me if it is actually at the docs...
  11. This script was taken from "A Small Rebellion" scenario... // TOWN SCRIPT // Town 0: Willow // This is the special encounter script for this town. // The states INIT_STATE, EXIT_STATE, and START_STATE have // meanings that are described in the documenation. States you write // yourself should be numbered from 10-100. Seriously, what do those things mean? What does it do? What can it be it's effect? Can somebody please tell?

It's like going from a black and white world to one rendered in color. Errr... that's what exactly Lilith just said. --------------- And welcome to spiderweb software, figuring out how and why things look obviously, expectedly same is a GREAT way to lose sanity...
  13. It would also work but I already placed it at my desktop. It could be soon useful in the future
  14. oh, oh, oh. I saved it in the program files now I get it. Thanks guys for informing, you're awesome computer uhhh... professionals? I didn't notice that once. Yeah and they restrict some programs from saving at the Program files
  15. After making my town with hardwork, I started to save then suddenly, a (da*n, sorry for swearing) error dialogue showed up and said something like: Quote: To prevent future problems the program will now terminate. (can't quite remember what the first one said, though it's not that) Then it said like: try giving BoA more memory then the error code is 11 (error code:11) It gave me a tip by giving BoA more memory, but how? Help would be much appreciated -Nightwatcher
  16. Not in a rude way but, Idc about the new editor Err... I'm kind of used on the old editor...
  17. Well that was helpful, thank you
  18. Oh alright. It is in what file? Is it in the appendix or just docs or where?
  19. I'm trying to make my own scenario. I've got the story, scripting knowledge and almost everything. Only one thing blocks me from making it. It is a .txt document that is always before a dialogue script Example: Quote: z3goldcrag <---------- this one z3goldcragdlg that script... is just I don't know what it does and how do you put them in use. Can somebody tell me anything about it?
  20. After another week of cramped hibernation...What has been happening now?
  21. The Nightwatcher stops hibernating and looks around. "What has been happening?" he says as he breaks a Jarate at Trenton's head.
  22. Takes the whoopie pie... still hiding at the bag hoping for a food fight
  23. Transforms into a "Van Helsing" inside Trenton's bag due to the prolonged sparkles...
  24. I shouldn't have said that... Nightwatcher: If you throw me out, I'm gonna break a jarate on your bag...
  25. A man in a black coat, black fedora, black shades was actually hiding in Trenton's bag, hearing the happenings along the way.
