  1. I, for one, never used any of the walkthroughs, strategy guides, or the message board, and I got through all the games but A4 just fine.
  2. Click to reveal.. Its only accurate if you consider "doomed" as being "not overpopulated and controlling all of the caves". And those sub-outcomes can really change the ending, such as if you let gladwell take over by helping him with all his quests, or killing melanchion. Besides, the famine and overpopulation was hinted at in A5. I for one was not suprised by the events in A6. Shouldnt this thread have more spoiler tags, given that its pretty much one giant spoiler?

  6. Ive been having the same problem on my xp, Avernum 1,2,3, blades dont have any sound at all.
  7. The real question here is...What kind of cheese? Pepperjack? Cheddar? Mozzarela?

  9. When I fought him, I had my melee fighters kill the demons that were spawning, while spamming smite on him. This is pretty much the only fight you should ever use invulnerbality potions on. Dont go to far from him or he'll run up to you to get back in range, at which point he'll start using his fire AoE, which is devastating if you dont have very good fire resistance. I cant remember what wards I used, its been awhile since I last played Avernum 6. I also believe there was a thread similar to this one awhile back.
  10. I actually found Gladwell easier than the Lich that he wants you to kill, sandly enough.

Hypothetical kids have a very short attention span, they would quickly forget that you told them that they're in a control group and need to keep very still.
  12. Im pretty sure acid does more damage, but im not certain. The Flaming sword is all but useless once your near the end of the game, as far to many enemies have good fire resistance.
  13. I am hopeful that the party will stay disfunctional. Dysfunctional = Amusing.

  16. I think that is the first time ive seen someone contemplate suicide on a AIMhack campaign.... But with a party like that, who wouldnt?
  17. I would be too if crazy pyromaniacs kept starting fires in my jungle. I wouldnt be suprised if someone sets the jungle on fire a third time, next time someone does a campaign and they end up in that jungle.

Wikipedia is not the answer to everything, just most things.
  20. Wonder if this is going to be as dysfunctional a party as the one in brigandage was.
  21. If he was lazy about recycling graphics, then he would NOT be using the same graphics over and over again, since he would be to lazy to recycle them. Thus, he is NOT lazy about recycling.
  22. Yup, thats what im thinking of. Never understood why their called crawlers when they dont crawl...
