This sounds horrifying. MMOs can be done well, yes, and there's nothing wrong with speculating on something that will almost certainly not happen, but let's not bring up the horrors of children being obnoxious on a game you're trying to relax on playing.

I request that if Spidweb ever goes mmo, it has an age requirement. Then again, nothing I'd like playing a game with a n eight year old telling you that he could take you in real life and making derogatory comments about your mother.

There should be an option in the editor to turn people from being hostile, Leave town, save, hit the Not Hostile button, load, and go back into town.

Only finished 2 Spidweb games, and done about 90% of crap in Geneforge 5. I still have yet to finish the Trakovite ending. Really, I think finishing a Spidweb game is near impossible, considering all the random weapons and stuff.

Pretty sure I told the story in a topic about three years ago, but all well.
Once apun a time, my computer broke down. And my neighbor, who was moving, gave us her computer. It didn't have internet access, but it had this game place full of
games. Exile II's Demo was on there, and I thought the image and description was interesting. I clicked it, played it, and immediately fell in love with it. When I tried to find it on my fixed computer a few weeks later, I looked for a few hours, and eventually remembered the word exile. Apon seaching this, I ran into Spiderweb Software and downloaded the demo again. After I beat the demo, I went for exile three to see if it was just as good, and the Spiderweb Software world had me hooked.
And that's how equestria was made.

It's been a month, maybe two since I last posted here, and with that time only 24 new topics were made. I remember the days about four or five years ago when we posted about 5-10 topics a DAY. What happened? Surely ALL of us are not drifting away. And there must be PLENTY more to talk about. Is Good old Spidweb really dying out? Or will it pick right back up again at the next game release?

Every day is a new day in the life of a guard. Even though you have no idea what day it is when all you really do is stand in the same spot day after day after DAY AFTER WEEK AFTER YEAR. Of course, I WOULD jump at the chance to gut some adventurers, since the only pastime is sniping the occasional slime that wanders too close to the city. And so, I go and swing my sword at the nephilim first being the racist Krizan Douche that I am, only to be obliterated by two Kill spells and a Wound thrown in my face.
I then proceed to follow them around as a shade, making annoying noises until they die.

The thing about Avernum is that there is EVERYTHING. Over what has to be 200 side quests and the entire story ark is a long one. That's what we're forgetting about here too. What movies do well. Cut. Content. Out. It doesn't really have to be crappy with budget and all if they cut out most side quests and even a few major one. No movie has the exact same plot as the book. Video game in this point. I can honestly say that the Slithzerikai War needent be included. The main point is the Empire invasion. That's it.
Of course, if they did a series about the entire six games, then that is 36 new characters to make up so.

15: Who Are You? - David Tennant guest stars as a random, nameless background pony no one has ever noticed before.

23: Spike and Rarity Sittin’ in a Tree - Nothing happens. That would just make things weird between them. Plus, his ex is totally psycho.
24: Let the Games Begin - Shining Armor and Cadance join the professional wife-throwing circuit. Destroy the competition.
25 & 26: Princess Discord - Discord becomes a draconequalicorn and replaces Celestia. As she always intended.
Let me just start by saying that this IS real and that Hasbro bought out Justin Bieber's voice.
I am exciting for this season.
