I would hold off on buying A:CS at the moment. The way Steam sales work means that it's possible for one (or more) SW game to get an even bigger discount. Whilst it's cheap at the moment, if it's selected for a flash sale or is unlocked through the monster game, it could end up going even lower.

I would be very, VERY surprised if there isn't a Steam sale for Spiderweb Software games this season. While they are no where near the most popular games, Valve is notorious for wanting your money.They'll probably throw something on at least one of them. Anything to get the money from your (virtual) wallets into their (physical) pockets.

Yep: if you want to improve your hit rate in melee, you should be pumping Strength. Also, if you're having trouble hitting things, avoid pieces of armour that reduce your hit rate unless you're sure the benefits are good enough to make up for that. It's pretty easy to stack up like 40% of to-hit penalties for a pretty marginal defensive benefit.

Yep, this was it. I just noticed how many -5% and -10% hit penalties I had.

Has anyone noticed a decrease in hit chance over all? No matter how High I set Dexterity and my weapon skills, I seem to miss three times out of five.

Know it's been solved, would just like to mention that if you buy the series on Steam, you can just download the games on any computer you log into on steam. Doesn't help with save transfers though.

I didn't do anything to speed up my PC, I guess I'll leave it just the way it is. Playing TW2 with 20-40 fps at the cost of having 800x600 screen res. I guess I just got used to Skyrim's "get more performance without sacrificing your graphics thing".*shrugs* I could play on even the lowest settings possible but the tiny font makes my eyes bleed.

You should have started with Geneforge. It doesn't matter your personal preferences before the games, after you've played Geneforge 5 for like 5 minutes, it automatically becomes your favorite game
