  1. Hunh. Well, zombies aren't usually my kind of thing, but RPing is. Expect a character shortly.
  2. Yay level! Click to reveal.. Name: Aaron Race: Human Occupation: Wanderer Deity: Imaunte Alignment: Willful Level: 2 HP: ?? / 16 STM: ?? / 10 STR: 3 DEX: 3 INT: 5 Martial (swords): 3 (3 SP spent) Magic (enchantment): 3 (3 SP spent) History: 4 (4 SP spent) Composure: 3 Artifice: 1 Perception: 2 (RB) Stealth: 1 (RB) Spells: Vertigo - Distorts one target's perception of space. They suffer a reduction in accuracy and have a hard time maintaining their balance. Bliss - Presents one target with a pleasing fantasy in an attempt to distract them. Those effected become less perceptive of their surroundings. This spell has little effect when the target is alert and focused, such as during combat. Charisma - (Costs one stamina) Surrounds one target with an air of confidence and charm. They receive a bonus to their Composure for a time. Nightmare Aura - (Costs one stamina) Makes nearby enemies perceive the caster as a horrific monster. Those most affected will become terrified, and those less affected will be provoked into attacking the caster. The effect is strongest near the caster. Shadow Pall: Surrounds the target and the area around them in a cloud of magical darkness. The cloud will follow the target around until the illusion wears off. Anyone inside the cloud is difficult to see and is effectively blind. Those skilled at enchantment magic have an easier time seeing through the illusion.
  3. The 7th works for me. I shouldn't have any more games until the 10th, at which point we're having a tournament.
  4. Thursdays work for me, with the one exception of June 30th. I have a game that day.
  5. I'm interested. I'd love to have a central database for BoA graphics.
  6. In all fairness, I built Aaron long before this campaign was announced. I've just been looking for the chance to use him. Exaclty. I expect to see Selffar's alchemy and Zatira's first aid go up really fast. I also wouldn't be surprise to see someone else take points in fist aid (I might just do that myself).
  7. On top of that, the only magic we have is enchantment. This is going to be interesting.
  8. I filled out the calendar, but I should point out that I have a softball game that's currently being rescheduled. I don't know when it will be yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I can.
  9. As I recall, you fight Vahkohs a total of three times on the upper floor. You can't go below until you've finished those fights.
  10. I think I'd like to get involved. Expect my character shortly.
  11. As I've said, I'm hot on the trail of one of my own projects and I'd like to get through it before starting something else. If I can get my next scenario to beta before June I might be able to participate, but I have a lot of work ahead of me before I can beta. If I don't make it, I can judge.
  12. I'd like to be able to move items on the ground straight into my junk bag without having to put them in my inventory first. It seems to me this could be easily done with a right-click.
  13. Are you importing from the default priest (in other words, do you have a line that looks like "import = 11;")? I believe the default priest uses a large template, so it has "cr_small_or_large_template = 1;" in its code. If you import a creature that uses a large template normally and you want to use a smaller template instead you need to include the line "cr_small_or_large_tempate = 0;" in the new creature's code so it overrides the old creature's code (I hope that made sense).
  14. Would "changes" encompass moving or deleting characters and doing other non-terrain related things?
  15. I have other projects that demand my attention right now, not the least of which are my own scenario ideas. However, I would gladly judge.
  16. Yes, this is a newer version. There were a couple bugs in the March 2nd release. I fixed them in the new version.
  17. Yeah, I should have done that a while ago. I've got the new version out now and have requested the scenario be added to the review list.

I'll sometimes do something like type "begindefineitem = ###;" which is a big no-no, especially since the error message will invariably point to a line that doesn't exist.
  19. The skill that reduces the effects of encumbrance differs from game to game. I'm not sure about A1 and A2, but I know that in A3 it's hardiness and in BoA it's defense.
  20. I got another horizontal scrollbar here. I'm running Firefox on Windows XP. I agree that the current background behind the text is very distracting. I took it upon myself to swap the blurry background and the solid color one, just to see how it looks. I think it looks much better that way, but the blurry background still wants to draw my attention away from the rest of the page. I think if there wasn't so much contrast or if the color transitions were a little sharper it wouldn't be as bad.
  21. Bug reports are always welcome. You shouldn't even be able to get into the shed without talking to Colonel Jenson. Either you have some serious tool use skill or you found a way in that shouldn't exist. I'd like to know exactly how you managed it. Taylor is right were he is supposed to be, but the dialog thing is definitely a bug. I'll get right on this and release a new version soon.
  22. That is just hilarious. I like the label "This product moves when used."
  23. Well, after spending a lot more time than I expected to on this, The Cradle is finally ready for release. It has been made available over at The Blades Forge. Have fun. Downloads can be found here.
  24. I don't think I ever finished Jane Eyre. I'm sure I'm not missing much. There were some books in school that I liked. To Kill a Mockingbird become one of my favorites. Warriors Don't Cry (I think that's what it was called) was good. I enjoyed reading Animal Farm the first time, but I never want to pick it up again.
  25. I hit one of those while making Strange Gildra. I turned my code inside and out trying to figure out what was going on, but never came up with an answer. Eventually, when I redesigned the dungeon where it was occurring it just stopped happening. I don't know what I did different, but it worked. Sorry I can't be of any help.
