  1. this is correct for every windows system: I think that windows XP is easier to work with for this purpose, based on my experiences. I could walk you through it if you'd like. Edit: Acky, didnt you make a full-blown terrestian map at one point? I think that I remember you posting one for me...
  2. woa. I didn't know this thing had an auto censor. COOL. and i think that i'll take the Mera-Tev somewhere: You're pick. Color...let's see. um... purple i guess. I'm not really a color person: Black usually suffices for me, but I'm not sure if that would really make a statement on the map. Purple it is. oh, and yesyes, Arterials will do for me.
  3. control of all farmers? of course not. do shapers have control of all shapers? no. look at litalia. So of course there are going to be some farmers that are okay with being pushovers. ARTIEITES FOREVER!
  4. Hmmmm you're right. I probably should give it a bit more thought. ooo h i know: FOOD STRIKE! all of this babling about the importance of farmers got me thinking: Why dont we show everybody what life will be like without us! Now you guys are going to have to barter weapons for food. haha. Thanks Acky. W-dueck: PM on the way. the whole URL is B**tchy. Thanks.
  5. *sigh* WHY can I picture you saying that? Mr. Dueck: The sighn-up link for the RP wiki has broken. Hope that it stops acting screwy soon.
  6. Faction: Angry Farmers For the ongoing years of the rebellion and predating, The agracultural peoples have done everything but flourish. Without anybody to put in their time and investment into our crops, there would be no food for ANY faction whatsoever. And yet the source of the very life of Terrestians is belittled and entwined into the unforgiving wrath of war. Crops were ravaged by rouge creations and the ones who had to suffer from this devistation were the innocent maintainers of life. Finally, the farmers could not take the mental and physical abuse any longer. Aided by their leader Artemis, the furious farmers rose up against the rule of all, and are forcing for their voices to be heard. Finally, there will be a vast collection of angry citizens who fight using only their words and peaceful protests, their goals aimed on grasping the unheard voice of the people. This faction of furious commoners are refusing to offer their services to any faction whatsoever unless they recieve supplies from them. This way, every other warrior in Terrestia are forced to aid the enemy. Finally, after months of bartering, the farmers were still not ready to fight. If they perished in war, where would the food aid come from? This problem sparked an idea in the mind of Artemis. Whenever a rouge aimed on destroying the farmlands appeared, it was captured and gently coaxed and tamed to do the bidding of the farmers. half of all of the farmers in Terrestia geared up for war with their pet-captives and set out to purge the Mainland of evil, Leaving the other half to watch over crops and fend for the farmlands. Leader Artemis, the Kind Mage Beleifs That everyone who dwells in the lands of Terrestia will have as much say in the maintenance of their homeland as the Almighty Drakons. Location The Storm Plains Creation Rights stance Screw the creations. They are like animals: They are incompitant to make their own decisions, but do not deserve to be abused. However, creations are not a top priority at all.
  7. Ooh, this sounds fun. I think i'll play. Gimme five minutes to figure out what i'm doing... My faction's location: EVERYWHERE. Where there are farmers, there are Artieites. I think that I have the most advantage here. My faction will have everybody cursing the wit of the commoners! mwoohahaha! [gotta work on the evil caccle.]
  8. Great. That'll come in handy one day.
  9. Ta. I bet you that about five people are going to email you just for fun.
  10. Not quite. Windows Vista for a 5 year old computer? My vast computer knowlege says no. Well, if you guys can find the system that's on a Compaq Presario V2000 then you've got it. [dont ask why I know the exact model of my computer. Long story with a shorted-out powercord...]
  11. he can't publish it without permission from Jeff. I honestly dont think that he could publish it WITH Jeff's permission, It being a fanfic and all. At least, this is pretty much what Jeff told me when I emailed him wondering about it. Let's see exactly what he told me... "This is fine, though I have two requests to make my lawyer happy. You can't sell it, and I can't read it (because I can't look at other peoples' ideas). Apart from that, have fun!" mkay. Sorry Sharx.
  12. ...Geezums, Artie has no idea, since her laptop is broken at the moment. But i'll make sure to tell you next week when 'ol Khyryk gets out of the shop.
  13. Quote: I'm afraid my best advise is to wait a bit and see if it stops on its own. My compy did it about twice, and i've noticed that if i wait a moment before clicking the area i want to go to, it doesnt act screwy. Then again, we probably have whole different computers...but this sould help.
  14. honestly, Artemis would like to know the same thing.
  15. Tehee. I remembered playing a rebel game on G3 once and I killed khyryk before he got a chance to flee. Fun, fun, fun. Poor guy didn't deserve being ruthlessly sloughtered just because he was different...he's my personal favourite, though. my excuse for spelling favourite wrong: That's how they spell it in Europe. Ha. I've bested myself. mkay. Artemis is done ranting now.
  16. woa. If you cheat this much, it kinda takes all the fun out of the game. Where's the challenge?
  17. Artemis hopes that Saraph is intwined into Andras' wrath and finaly sees the magnitude of his errors...Which of course has nothing to do with the rebels specifically, just saraph. Tehee. Good chapter, Sharx.
  18. Well, if you ask me, the evidence is right in front of us. Like Acky said, there's nothing else to do. Well...unless we play some angry farmers torching shaper cities. But that's more then unlikely. As for a BoG...I don't exactly know what a "Blades" game is [seriously...what's the differnce between Avernum and Blades of Avernum???] oh well. Edit: Artemis remembers in G3, shaper jolana in the caverns on Gull said something along the lines of, "Hanna will be missed. She Brang me food, but I didnt like the flavor of the meat she brought me." Uh, Jolana? The Drayk was bringing you human flesh. Artemis realized this all by herself. I'm so proud of myself.
  19. Since Geneforge is such an awesome game, I thought it deserved a proper burial. But I dont feel like writing an ulogy, so you guys can do that. Any thoughts before we lay this heartfelt story to rest?
  20. Quote: So sad about the poor wingbolt. Artemis says he got what was comin' to him. Tehee, I'm sounding more like Shaper Scum every day. On a side note: SARAPH IS AN IDIOT...[but Sharx rocks, just as an FYI]. Artemis wonders...when Saraph figures out who distroyed his hometown, will he still fight for the rebels? hmmmmmm.
  21. Artemis thinks that the funniest G5 moment is when Taygen is talking about how lovely his wife is, and the warriors are rolling their eyes. Well, It's mildly amusing.
  22. mmm, G1-G3 definately. They were krunkalitioous then.
  23. yeah, I hope you go to college and make something of yourself...I wish you the best of luck.
  24. Quote: i am so damn awesome. why yes, ackrovan is awesome. Too bad I'm awesomer.
