  1. I find Agent Miranda hotter myself. But she doesn't count since this isn't the G4 forum.

I looking at the skin again and yes, it is really pale but to me it looks glowy which translates as a greenish tone on my computer. Quote: Given that the Shaper wears a shadowy robe that leaves only creepy red eyes visible, and the Guardian wears full body armor, the only skin you can actually see is the Agent's. Perhaps they're all like that - which would be one thing that clearly distinguishes them from the humans in the game... Ah the eyes are not always red it seems to correspond with your robe colour.
  3. I've been thinking about this for awhile. You see, I've always wondered why the agent's default graphic had pale green skin. Maybe all shapers are like that. Then I supposed that was to represent the use of canisters since the agent was the only character that shows skin. Has anyone else ever wondered about this oddly coloured skin?
  4. @ the Doctor: After writing that I did think that it wouldn't happen due to reasons that you yourself stated. But I suppose that you by the time you were able to shape barred creatures people wouldn't want to mess with you anyway. Anyway, I'd like to see more crafting recipes or a reappearance of the Sholai.
  5. I search through the forums, trying to find a topic like this but I didn't so I've started one for the discussion of what you would like to see(Or not)in Geneforge 5. I think someone else originally brought this up but I'd like to see NPC's recognise what kind of shaped creations you have. When you walk into a friendly shaper camp, you would think that someone would comment on the fact you have a few Drayks following you around.
  6. While playing through the game I came across a few interesting errors/glitches in the game. Note:Windows Version 1) While in the Sea Caves, even after using the machines to turn off the fields, they remain on. The only way I could explore the area was to us Essense Armor and the Healing Craft spell equivalent, trigger the fields and use Shift+D as fast as I could. 2) I entered the Drakon city from the west did what I had to do and kick the ass of those whose ass' needed to be kicked. But later when I went to the City Gates there is a Drakon who somehow hasn't heard the news that I just killed the guy that she sees as her true leader. Is this a problem or is it just how it goes and I did things the wrong way around? 3) Time to time the screen flickers black while the game is running, it doesn't affect gameplay but it is annoying. Anyone else ever have these problems?
  7. From what I remember of my game, I stayed with the Oozing Blade all through the game after I got it. (Acid Damage FTW) Come to think of my G4 game, I kept the equivalent acid blade as well. I did use the Spear of the Fen for my pole fighter alot too.
  8. What would I like to see in A5? Ooh I know! The ability to play singleton parties again, without level progression stagmenting midway through the game.
  9. I have a different problem. I can't get into the Skree Caves. Before I went into the game I installed the patch. The I went into my saved game which was in the Darkside Loyalists hideout (Which is entered from Saffron.) After reporting back to Saffron I went back to the hideout and then upstairs to the two gates. Except this time "I wasn't strong enough" but I had opened them before. What the hell happened?

Ah... the acid spell, that saved me several times in Metris (Damn undead that were resistant to my dispel undead spell.)

  12. And you'd need to occasionally increase the strength to fufill the pack-mule needs.
  13. I ordered about an hour ago and I was charged for air mail- $2 (It's not much but it's the principle.) The order form forced me to choose air mail for the option since I live in Australia.
  14. I meant I was killing anything that got in my way while I was mapping.
  15. @Ephesos- I have a habit from my Avernum/Exile days where I'd case the outside of the town and map the surrounding area before entering the town. I'm a fanatic for filling out the auto map. It just doesn't feel right until it's whole.
  16. I don't mean the crazy guy north of Formello. I mean the quest from the Job Board in Fort Monastery- find the dead necromancer south of Fort M. and kill him again. But I still haven't found him. Anyone know where I should look? Also, is it possible to complete the rat tails quest for Captain Graham if you killed alot of the actual rats before getting the quest?
  17. I'm thinking of registering A4 but I just want the key code-not the CD. However, when I look at the order form it appears there is no 'No Postage' option. Does this mean I'll have to pay for postage anyway?
  18. I'll tell you my thoughts on the game in 30 minutes. 23 minutes to download the rest and the rest to install and start playing.
  19. I for one wouldn't mind seeing a CSI:Avernum.
  20. I for one wouldn't mind seeing a CSI:Avernum.
  21. I got the story from a story book, honest. Anyway, do you think children's stories weren't ever full of violence and bloodshed? I have heard that in the earliest forms of Little Red Riding Hood ended with said girl being eaten by the Wolf (In a gory way of course.)
  22. The foolish giant...I think I've heard of that story. Is it the one where this Giant falls in love with this beautiful but cruel hearted (although he doesn't know the second part). And she tells him to prove his love to her bying filling a certain hole in the rock with his own blood. She neglects to tell him a vital fact about this hole. It ends with him bleeding to death anyway.
