  2. Thanks you are awesome. Perhaps someone should update the link in the BOA editor section then.
  3. Since the website no longer exists due to being on geocities I was wondering if the website had a new address or if anyone has copies of the BOA graphics that were hosted on there?
  4. Actually I never had it in the program files the above system is what I always used since G4/A4 was released.
  5. I have it set out like this: program files\Spiderweb Software\Blades of Avernum Been working well for me so far, plus it more organised.
  6. ...And I just solved it myself... Ran it as administrator and folder started appearing as well as saving working. So If anyone else has this problem run it as adminstrator. It should work.
  7. System: Windows Vista Error Message: http://i50.tinypic.com/153p9ag.jpg As for the invisible folders they do not exist according everything except BOA/BOAEditor I can search the data folder for the .bas file name again and again and come up with nothing. Hell I'm looking at the data folder right now where I know for a fact that there should be three scenario folders visible which are not but appear when in the editor open-menu.
  8. I decided to start playing around with the editor today when I found I could not save anything I've done. The error is called Error number: 11. I then tried again by using a newly downloaded copy of the 3Deditor and the exact same error occurs. What is happening? And how do I fix it? Also, this may be related. Whenever I make a scenario file it is visible on the open-menu and can apparently be copied to the scenario section while still in open-menu but it is invisible/absent if you try and look for the actual folders.
  9. 3: Actually it was a nephilim tribe with goblin assistance.
  10. I remember you, god it's really been five years or so?

Actually some of the items in the Geneforge series still have descriptions, usually in an unbolded text.
  12. My holidays start next week so I might check this out. Destruction/Mercy/Will Doesn't count.
  13. Quote: One of the definitions of 'bovine' is slow-moving and dull-witted. I would argue, therefore, that ornks are more bovine. When cows were sent down to Avernum, most died, only the strongest and smartest could survive, so they must have lost some of their bovineness in order to continue life in such harsh conditions. Ornks, on the other hand, were specifically created to be slow and dumb, for easy harvesting, so the Shapers would have maximized their boviness, perhaps making them even slower and stupider than real life cows. Ornks are thus the more bovine. smile Re: Which is more 'bovine' in the sense of slow-wittedness Are there any talking cows in Avernum canon? Nethergate doesn't count as there is a talking Ornk in G5 and those religious Ornks in G1 (Which weren't altered they had just been left alone for a few centuries.
  14. Well cave cows have the 9 headed cave cow. But Ornks have the angelically glowing Ornklords and Oozebeasts. Ornks for the win.
  15. Perhaps they means the other humanoids such as gremlins look like goblins with a paint job.

But about the ending, will there be multiple endings or one main ending which will have different bits of text depending on what you did?
  17. Oh yeah I remember that. And if you have used too many canisters after seeing the stash and confronting the leader you go on a rampage.

Correct about BoE 'not yours' gold. When in that state you couldn't see how much the amount was either.

Vantanas is the smallest continent, but in many ways the richest, with its hot climate, fascinating fauna, and rich stores of gold and diamonds. And finally, there is the recently settled Valorim, which has a wild (though controlled) spirit. The Encyclopedia Ermariana says Valorim is the largest. I would have though Pralgad was the biggest.
  22. I thought the best areas were those they had in A1. Gnass was originally formed from the Sliths who were pushed out of that region by the Darklings. (Gnass Sliths were the ones why built that big temple with the purification pools.). In fact Gnass is in an area which is pretty crappy for Sliths if you go by A1 dialogue. The Empire did take over the Slith territory though. And there are probably whole stretches of unknown caverns below or next to Avernum where the Darklings have been living and growing in numbers.
  23. Actually in A1 the barbaric sliths are said to have taken the best locations for sliths (Warm and wet) and the friendly ones are stuck in places like Gnass which isn't that good for Sliths. And they are omnivorous but focus more on meat (And crushed hopes and dreams as Enraged Slith pointed out.)
