I swear, the 15 minute upload limit really gets annoying when dealing with 15.5 minute episodes... pah. Still, have some knowledge on SHAPER FARMING!!!!

Whammos, surprise appearances, horrible horrible pain, and explanations. This episode is long, but it's got it ALL!

There's more than one route yanno. Can't get through the mines? Take the pass northwest of the bridges, skirting the side of the Wastes.

And in this one we finally run into the last area we can see in Drypeak Valley. And find something familiar...

Well at least this place is easy...

And so Geneforge 2 reveals its true face. Ouch...

In very short, Avernum is Australia. In short, the Empire dumped all their criminals and undesirables into exile in a distant land that was filled with the deadliest creatures in the known world. So yeah, Australia. In longer, the Empire found a series of caves deep beneath the surface. Known as Avernum, they sent all their murderers, rapists, undesirables, monsters, gays, political rivals, and wrong-place-wrong-time people down there to keep themselves safe. Escape from the Pit takes place at the start of all this. Avernum 4, 5, and 6 take place MUCH later. EftP is a remake of Avernum 1, and you're missing all the details from Avernum 2 and Avernum 3. In much longer and spoiler-ridden to sum up what happened in 2 and 3, After this point, Avernum 4 begins. And if you watch the intro of that, you will know all that is needed for that story.

Not bad, though I too am surprised you decided the shapers had a song about them walking alone. Plus I'm pretty sure that image of a person by a lizard-creature in a dark cave was Avernum-related.

Due to the way the video worked I ended up having to cut in the middle of a conversation. Otherwise the video lengths would have been 5 minutes and 13 minutes, and that would have just not been good. Working with a 15 minute time limit is a bit frustrating at times...

While I appreciate the offer, Seraph, I'm going to go through the game without any mods. Want to keep the game going fresh and keep it as is, dealing with the frustrations myself. Plus I've completed stuff way past the point where Zora eventually leaves you, so there's that too. Anyway, have another vid.

And now we enter an area, and we get assistance! This is where the frustration begins people...

Mmm, not sure what combo I'm going to end up taking, RainbowDashRadical, considering how difficult the game gets so very quickly, but we'll see as things go. I'm also aware of how the games go (I have beaten all of them before once each) and it's more some of the exact details that I forget. I mainly try to keep mum on everything for people who are watching without knowledge of what's coming or the like. Yanno? In the meantime, HAVE MORE TALKING and MORE VOICES!!!

After taking a few days to recover, BEHOLD! I come bearing a Let's Play of Geneforge 2, with a new shaper and a new game and stuff! What wonders are we to see? What terrors will we encounter? Will I be able to keep a backlog so that I don't run out of videos? TIME WILL TELL! And if you missed my LP of the first geneforge, you can find it here! But for now, it's time to begin. So what's with the gemstones, crystal, book, meal bag, and living tool just to the left of the MASSIVE ARTIFACT PILE OF DOOM ?

About spawners, it seems that gemstones are involved in their creation, since whenever you kill a spawner it drops one to three gemstones. Actually, Pylons do the same thing... maybe Spawners are an evolution of Pylons? Similar to how, say, Cryoas are an evolution of Fyoras?

And thus, the long quest of Geneforge comes to an end... though it is but a prequel to the greater story. How far am I in G2 so far? Two areas from the end of the demo region, I believe. I wish I had more time... I'll be posting a new thread for the second game (And each game therafter) to make it easier for other people to find the game they want to see. And also, thanks guys for watching the series. I hope you all enjoyed it so far.
