A little more exploration and slaughter, and we're almost done here people!

Sorry about the delayed post. I got a chance to do recording earlier and I couldn't miss the opportunity. But I still have uploads for you! ENJOY!

And by this point, one of the main themes of Geneforge is really hammered in. Also, I appologize for the awkward near the end. Someone came home and the sound of them moving around the house got picked up by the mic. Nothing was missed, that area just had lots of pylons and little in the way of items of use.

I come to help the guy and all he gives me is LIES. And POISON.

The next area was a bit tricky, but at this point with the "training" I got from the crypt I think I can handle almost anything.

After the hell that was The Shaper Crypt, I need a good, relaxing, easy area...

There's two of them, and you'll find a hint given by someone somewhere. As for precisely where? Dropped by two creatures labled "Crescent [namehere]". As for where they are? I forget specifically... check my earlier vids, and you'll see.

Yeah seriously... screw this dang crypt.

Actually I intended to give the Sholai Russian accents or the like. And as for fighting my way to Trajkov? Not yet. There's still ONE more thing I have to do...

Really? I'm surprised. Here I thought it only granted resisted to status effects like Daze, Fear, and so forth. Didn't think it added to elemental resistance as well! I'll have to rethink things in the future... Ah well. In the meantime, have another video. Oh yes, and I imagine you guys will be quite interested in the next videos...

Once again, another episode with SUBSTANCE to it! Huzzah! Oh yes, and I've also started recording my LP of Geneforge 2, so that I'll have a backlog for it. Decided to go with a different method for naming creations as well, that you'll see when it starts up.

Oh hey, finally an episode with some good MEAT to it! Or at least substance... well it's longer than 10 minutes anyway BLAH!

And that is why Sucia island was barred. All those shapers "Enhancing" themselves just embarassed everyone on the council.

Little fighting, little wandering, nothing TOO new or interesting in this one I admit. We'll have good stuff soon though, don't worry.

Yeah I noticed that vid a while ago. The guy actually started a Geneforge 1 playthrough exactly TWO DAYS after I started mine. He's much further along though, already doing Geneforge 3, this because he uploads entire sessions at once as opposed to one episode/area per day like I do.

Oi this place was annoying the first time...

How I made it through this area without making a single pokemon joke I have no idea... Also, got about 6 and a half hours of recorded footage left, so I'm going to start playing Geneforge 2 once I get the house all to myself for a while, just so I can build up a backlog with minimal waiting for new episodes. That's actually part of why I only do one a day... since I have no idea when my next recording session will be, I like to make sure I have enough backlog to last a while, just in case.

See, things like this are why I like diplomacy. It saves you having to deal with a slog sometimes! Then again, you guys might like seeing that.

While I haven't played the first three Avernum games to completion, I love the Avernum series just as much as Geneforge, but for different reasons. Geneforge I love for the themes and ideas sure, but Avernum? For Avernum it's the setting. The entire realm of Avernum, being able to revisit people and places in later games, seeing what is the same and what has changed, the actual location... for me that's what I love. It's been a very long time since I tried the first either way. I can't provide much info beyond to say "Be glad to have multiple party members that can carry stuff". In general I remember always organizing who carried what. The cleric carried books and the like, the mage carried scrolls and wands, and the warrior and Rebel carried all the merchant crap, with the Warrior tending to carry quest items and potions and the like.

And because the next two episodes were fairly short, have two episodes at once! BAM! Hmm, I should probably start recording G2 soon...

Oh I go into it. I never go THROUGH it beyond the short bit you saw me walk in and realize "I'm not getting any good distance through this with my creations intact", but I did step in.

And now have an extra episode. Because I like you guys.
