Emerald Chestgaurd or Danette's Belt. I wish you could get these two earlier in their respective games, but oh well. One made killing an augmented trakov fun and one made Gazak Uz completeable (at least in the first few tries).

Iridium pants... (though heavy) But I was aluding to regular pants being important in A3 more than in other games.

I usually play games where I won't make any knowledge brews/wisdom crystals, but use the ones that show up. Other than that, I basically do what TP does: No temporary battle advantages through potions.

I love the min-maxing of Jeff's games. I love being able to beat the endgame with 4-5 turns because I made my guys so awesome.

I think the point hes getting at is that it is a language. If you speak it, someone will understand it, and can respond so you can understand it. That makes it a real language, and whether its been developed naturally or not is irrelevant.

I know mac's have a thingy where you can switch some of the letters to the numpad, so maybe you could check to see if that is possible for PC? You might not get all the keyboard shortcuts anymore though.

Yes, it is. There are some badies I can't do but 150 damage on, but I'm just upgrading endurance and such on this guy.

It worked. I now have the black halberd and all its awesomeness. I do 190+ damage to everything now.

If your on a mac, go to the Geneforge 5 folder in your applications folder (unless you moved it somewhere). Then go to "Geneforge 5 files". Then go to "Scripts".

Neither Relle nor Rache's walkthrough have the effects of the augmentation platforms listed. I wanted to make powerhouse items (Black Halberd + 2 additional strength, other awesome stuff) but I'm trying not to spend all the time in the world searching for the platforms and then testing them to see what they do. I know there is one in the Portal Keep, one in the gifts, and one in the golem factory (I'm next to it right now, +10% magic damage resistance).

I cannot seem to find a list of the augmentation platforms and their bonuses. Does one exist, and if so, could you post a link? Thank you!

Angel's Rest, in the inn, and its the only Masok I've ever seen. According to the walkthrough, I'm supposed to buy the map from him. I only get one choice option of what to say, so its not like I haven't hit the right buttons. I've already killed the troglo king as well as destroyed the barrier. Would that trigger this? I also am in the Remote Cavern right now, and I think I can't get in until I get the map, which I don't have.

Masok won't talk to me. He has the map for the Black Halberd and I can't get him to sell it to me. Do I need the map to get the Black Halberd? Is there some special way I can get him to talk to me? Note: I have both a Nephil and Slith in my party. Do I need to make them sit in a corner for a while? Edit: I can always just use the character editor to make the map appear, but I'd rather do it the way its supposed to be done.

A ring in A3, the effect is worded like this: -50% less chance to be hit Does this mean the chance to be hit is 50% less, or will I be hit 50% more? The only reason I ask is this is a cursed ring, but it looks to me like it gives a great bonus. Thanks!
