After being a Sorceress/drakon ally, I'm playing through again, but this time a Servile/trakovite. I was told there was a mental focus charm in the foundry, but i've yet to find it. Can some one give me some turn by turn directions to the known charms for the game? Thanks- Tex

Second half of the game being some hard to beat areas in the North and most of the South. I've been being retarded and haven't been looking for them. Thx again

Do we have locations for the charms? I'm guessing their all in the 2nd half of the game, but just a general area to look for them would be nice.

My favorite thing to do in these GF games is to powerplay every sect available. However, there is no longer a lovely little option that says, "I no longer want to be in this sect". Is there a way to leave a sect without the cheats or killing the person in charge?

I had trouble with doing this too. I have 3 very high level cryodrayks and a Sorceress with O.K mental magic. I can shape just about anything, and have pretty good intelligence. I play on normal, and just got into the Dera Desert. Any advice for making me more efficient?

Geneforge 7, the last boss to win the game. for the rebels, killing the council, for the shapers, A GAINT UR-OOZEBEAST!!! It should have aura of flames and acid spray and unleash both at the same time. And 500 health. No, 5000 health! And it should be neon orange!

Ok, I think i know what went wrong. You have to take so much damage, and with my characters at such high resistances, they weren't being hurt at all. I tri ed making it only attack my mage by attacking it, and it still failed, but when i took off all the armor and tried it again, I got alot more damage on me and it said i passed it.

I've gone quite aways. I'm working west of remote right now, so health is not a problem. But I did beat the crap out of it, so ill just sit tight this time. Use the heal all every once in a while. Thank you for the help.

This is my first play through of Avernum 4, and I realized that I've skipped the testing grounds. I seem to be stuck on the second one, north of formello. It says i have not suffered enough damage and did not complete the task. How exactly do you pass the test?

All of those creatures could have been shaped, and most of them could be the upgrades of existing ones (i.e. fyora->basilisk).

There is no evidence that they aren't connected, other than it is a bit of a stretch. When the next game comes, i think there will be a few more connections, until we get to the last one. I'm not saying its true, but it has many similarities, and it is completely possible that they are connected. Why are you so opposed to a simple opinion, Darkling?

A5 does seem much better than A4 by about the time your done with the demo, but other than that, I can't say much. I haven't bought it yet. Gotta wait for some super-special deal like the trilogy package or something.

Graphics are only a perk to a game. Period.

The one continent that the shapers live on is called Terrestia, not the whole world. They dont know about the rest of the world, other than there is more out there because they have had contact with the shol'ai. Lucheiah, the geography doesn't have to change to much to give a completely different weather pattern, changing the landscape even more drastically, but I dont think we ever know what the Avernum over world looks like, so we have nothing to compare each to.

Who cares about the graphics if the game itself is better?
