  1. Arguably the best martial artist in the last century, Bruce Lee.

  3. Harehunter, the reason they were getting mad at you was because you were posting out of character in a roleplaying thread, not discussing the roleplaying.
  4. The Ratt, who quietly had remained AFK for the first two stops, now springs back to life The Ratt: Oh my god, this is perfect! He rummages through his bag, pulls out a mortar and pestle, and places them on the seat. He then resumes digging in his bag and pulls out some avocados, salsa, salt, and a few other secret ingredients. The Ratt: Okay guys, help yourself to chips and salsa while I make some guacamole!

    College

I think the biggest hurdle to college education becoming subsidized by the government more than it is are the people whose mindset is "I don't give a <censored> what the benefits are, you aren't raising my taxes." I also think that even if they weren't against increased taxes, you would still be hard pressed to convince them having an english, history, art, music, or dance degree would be worth their money.
  6. You could start Haydn now, then Dantius couldn't find you.
  7. I think it would be interesting for Ron Paul to get elected president, because it would, as the article mentioned, blur party lines. IMO, both parties need to have some restructuring done and a catalyst such as Paul becoming president could do that. I only worry that power hungry entities could use the imbalance to accumulate more power for themselves, or find loopholes to abuse the system even more.
  8. So now it's Romney, Paul, and Gingrich. I think it says something about Gingrich that he is still in the race. The longer he stays in the more votes he's taking away from Romney and the more likely Obama will win, which unless Gingrich has a hidden agenda, is probably something he does not want. He's just too focused on himself to see the big picture.
  9. The music and dancing wake up The Ratt, though he turns in his seat to watch rather than join in. He remembers learning somewhere that standing on a moving vehicle is dangerous, and with all the incidents that have been happening, his gut feeling is kicking in. He starts bobbing his head to the music, it's a catchy tune, he just wishes it wasn't on repeat...
  10. The Ratt had been enjoying the scenery after dinner and had dozed off a while ago, missing Trenton's activity and the discussion of where to go. He continues to sleep.
  11. Why can't I think of a book where a character rides a dragon? This is a terrible time to not remember a book where a character rides a dragon.
  12. The Ratt grabs three shish kabobs and four slices of pizza then sits back down The Ratt: Mmmm. I've always loved the authentic Mongolian taste. He promptly dips his first kabob in the last of his guacamole and begin digging in
  13. The Ratt (to BMA): It's a dip that is mashed guacamole that usually has salt, tomato, and chiles mixed in, but can contain other stuff too. It's pretty good, and for some reason, it's my gimmick. Would you like to try some?
  14. The Ratt: Would memory chips work? I still have plenty of those left. And thanks for the beard complement. Yours is very respectable as well.
  15. The Ratt tries dipping one of the whoopie pies in his guacamole, only to be unsatisfied by the marshmallow-avacado taste. "... I think I'm going to stick to memory chips."
  16. The Ratt: *whispers* to Actaeon "He said the bus was going to feed off us, do you think it would take memory chips and guacamole instead?
  17. Another bearded chap approaches the bus, stares at the spider, Slarty, and the pink Nephil. "Why not?" He gets on the bus and breaks out some guacamole. "Does anyone have anything to dip?"
  18. How often do you tell chemistry puns? Periodically?
  19. I'm not trying to offend, I'm genuinely curious, why are you spending time on the forums if you aren't buying Jeff's games?
  20. I suppose that having that option is nice for the technically impaired, they no longer need to worry about getting viruses/malware, but just the fact that they are taking that step suggests that they could phase that into being the default and eventually only option, similar to the migration from PPC to Intel or the constant development of technology.
  21. Not sure if he's been particularly influential, but no one has mentioned Mysterious Man yet.
  22. Judging from what you said in the other thread, I think I would fit in the modern era members-at-large. Unless, of course, you don't think i've contributed enough.
