I was taught to use two spaces after a period when learning typing on a computer as well. I have since realized that it is unnecessary and have tried, without much success, to convince others of this.

Or Oblivion, actually.
This particular message is delivered in Skyrim, not Oblivion.

I can't speak for all countries, but in the United States, it is indeed illegal to impersonate a soldier. It is also illegal for a soldier to wear their uniform when not performing official military duties or traveling to and from said duties. In that vein, walking down the street in uniform for the express purchase of catching the eye of a lady would not be permissible.I'm not sure, but I think it's illegal to impersonate a soldier. Simply being in the reserves is enough to impress a lot of women, even if you only do it for a couple of hours per week. Strutting down the street in your uniform with definitely get a few glances from potential partners. -
Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this. Avernum 2 and 3 let you manually add any item with the editor with the item's numeric code, but Avernum 1 is limited to what is listed in the editor.

Unfortunately, Avernum 6 doesn't support resolutions lower than 1024x768.

okcupid is likely to be kind of iffy if you're in a small town or something but if you're in pretty much any big city there'll be some people on there who are reasonably compatible with you.
Yep. I have several friends in large urban areas who have had great success. Living in rural Pennsylvania, I have not had the same luck.

In that same vein, holy cow, I'm the 14th most prolific poster. How did that happen? Just imagine how high up I would be if I hadn't used so many different accounts.I just did a search of the top 40 posters to see what's up here, and there were two striking things. First, a LOT of them aren't around anymore. Second, of the ones who are, there are more from '06-'07 than I would've expected. If I had a little bit of time, I'd do a numerical analysis, but for the moment, I don't.
Congratulations, Kel. Here's to 10 more.

Idk, Knights of the Old Republic maybe? It's cool, but I don't think it has a Mac OS version.
There is a Mac version on Steam.

I don't know. He turned a 320-page book into over 9 hours of film. I shudder to thing how long the Avernum films would be.Peter Jackson might be a better choice with more experience dealing with CGI monsters especially spiders and dragons after The Hobbit. Plus they have the same taste in beards.

There are only 3 books...I'm on book 4 of The Lord of the Rings. I'm doing much better this attempt than my first time, where I got to about chapter 4.
I'm currently reading The King's Blood, the second book in the Dagger and Coin series by Daniel Abraham.

Apparently Sylae and those other weird montanians dipped their fries in their shakes, combining the two. I personally think they're nuts
seriously why doesnt everyone do this
i thought that was a common thing
I do this too. It's not just a Montana thing.

I had no issues when I was running them in SheepShaver. Another alternative that is guaranteed to work is virtualized Windows using VirtualBox or VMware.
-
SheepShaver does work, but BasiliskII does not. BasiliskII emulates and old 68k CPU, but the Avernum games are PPC only.
-
You can use SheepShaver because it emulates an old PPC Mac. You cannot use BasiliskII, as that emulates an old 68k CPU, and the Avernum games were never fat binaries. The Exile games do run in BasiliskII though.

The GoG versions use Wineskin as well, so if the versions on my site don't work for the OP, then the GoG versions will probably not work either.

and no Rosetta in newer OSXes.
Yes, that's why I said 10.6 or lower...
-
There was a minor patch to let Avernum 1 to 3 run natively on Intel CPUs when Apple switched from Power PC.
No, there was not. The games were upgraded to use the Carbon framework and run natively in OS X as PowerPC apps, so they could run on Intel Macs running 10.6 or lower utilizing Rosetta, but they were never made Intel-native.
