  2. Doing a search would bring up these two . My answer as always is Cryodrayk.
  3. The Mind eats nutrient fluid, and it can be found in one of the rooms to the west. You can use the testing grounds in the demo.
  4. Press the shift key when selecting an item in your inventory.
  5. Well the translation of what I wrote: When you have made too many different types of creations the game says “You can only have at most six types of creations in your group.” The game counts you as one of your creations. Alwan and Greta are each a creation, and each will fill a slot. So, if you do not have Alwan or Greta, you can make up too five different types (you can of course have multiples of the same) If you have one of the two (Alwan or Greta) you can make five different types of creations. If you have both Alwan and Greta you can make up to four different types of creations.
  6. That's what I said. Dose what I say take too much processing or something?
  7. I think those Shapers leave after you have destroyed the Geneforge. If they are still there the person who will trade with you is still there. I don't know the Shaper's name because I don't have a save anywhere near that point in the game. If they are gone you could just go back to one of the other islands for supplies, or loot for them.
  8. You are allowed to have six different creatures in your group, including you and Greta/Alwan. You can either have four different creations and take Alwan or Greta, or you can have five different creations and not take Alwan or Greta.

By the way, is there anyway to get the canisters in the rebel encampment on Harmony Isle without completing their quests or using living tools? If your mechanics is high enough you can open the doors with fewer living tools. Living tools are very common later in the game, and breaking and entering is the only way to get the canisters as a loyalist.
  10. Quote: Originally written by Ald: You all are missing the point. Have you examined carefully the lady that meets you outside of the school? Read the description, take a look what creations she has with her. The G3 concept is drastically different from previous games in the series. No longer it is shapers justice vs servile justice, it is whether you protect the system you hold a rather humble place in or break it in hopes to gain some power in the new world. Cmon, you don't really believe these slogans about justice and freedom? They are just slogans, propaganda to attract the ignorant masses. The rebels tend to treat everybody just like Shapers, or worse. I purposely left a vague description of the factions and their general goals. I would rather he go through the dialogue and the story and figure out what is really happening on his own. I know there is more complexity too the story than I said, but why say everything when giving a general statement. Also, I beg too differ on the statement of this being any different from the other two Geneforge plots. There may be variations in setting, characters, side stories, and things of that nature, but the basic concept itself is almost exactly the same for all three.
  11. Hoge is killable in the school, but he is exceedingly resilient and powerful. I used the dialogue option to make him attack me, but I assume I could have just hit him first. I've killed him everywhere now, and have not found him to be unkillable in any situation . I don't know about the other characters. I used the cheat script and was able to kill him in two hits, but he could have also killed me in two hits. Edit: He will however reincarnate to where he is meant to be next.
  12. Read through this thread , and see if it helps you. If you're still having trouble I'll be more specific.
  13. I prefer a melee Agent to a Guardian, as Guardians are magically inept.
  14. I would assume that it would be seen as zero.
  15. There are only two factions, which are the Rebels and the Shapers. The Shapers want to keep their laws enforced while keeping their creations under control, and prevent the world from gaining access to their secrets. Since you are a very gifted young apprentice they want you to help them bring down the rebels, which would prevent the Shapers from falling from power. The rebel humans feel mistreated and neglected by the Shapers, and simply want assistance with the rouge creations. The rouge creations say that they have a right to freedom, as they are sentient beings, You being an apprentice may still be open-minded enough to change your beliefs, And may be able to help them carry out their plans. Try it both ways, as both perspectives are interesting.
  16. I always had enough gold because I only bought what I knew I needed. I've taken to only using Fire and Magic Shaping, so that saves on some unnecessary spending. I also only buy the spells I like to use, which is about half of them. I love canisters and the Drakon's blessings, so a purist ending is out of the question for me. I felt really rich until I got to the Isle of Spears and the Monastery. Yeah, you're rich in the beginning, but in the beginning everything is relatively inexpensive. Taewell - Call me Dolphin, Azul is just the current name.
  17. There are more Crystalline Fibers out there. I don't remember where, maybe someone else does. In the mean time search for them, as there are about four or five or so.
  18. The real spending comes at higher levels; creations, spells and abilities will really drain your gold. One moment you have 20,000 gold, and three purchases later it's down to 5,000. I like the way the gold works in GF3. With loot everywhere, and shopkeepers with unlimited funds, I could actually buy quality equipment and high-level creations.
  19. You need to find a wooden ring within the Rebel Camp. You'll have to sneak into the second half of their camp, and don't get caught by the guards.
  20. The three crystal pieces are in Benerii-Uss Holding, Shaping, and the Geneforge. I'm not sure exactly where within those areas, but definitely there.
  21. So you saved Wizard's script as z10testingdlg.txt? I'm not having the problem you are, but unless you replaced something you shouldn't have, replacing a dialogue script wouldn't cause this problem.
  22. I would use a single town as a storage site, but several homes within it. My favorite spot was with the Obeyers by the east exit, so that's where I put the most valuable things. The Obeyers are one of the harder towns to make angry, so it was a secure spot. I would be too lazy to travel between towns to get my things. Edit: In GF3 it was annoying having to carry all my loot to the next island, but I did it for each one, so my stuff would be right there waiting.
  23. This should go in the Avernum trilogy forum rather than tech support.
