now i remember something. back when i was playing the a3 demo (e3 too?), i used to capture that drake lord or whatever hes called whos hiding in a secret lava tunnel in the mountains in sw valorim. i think the entrance was on the north side, a bit east of the mines. hes quite a killer though and a nice guy. he will ask you for aid twice, i think. if you do so, youll get a reward, but i dont remember what kind of reward.

not forgotten but abandoned. tags like those simply destroys any good sarcasm.

now that you say it, i start to remember too. didnt somebody in a2 in the crystal chamber or whatever its called (the place where the crystal souls are "stored") explain that stuff? got no savegame to check it. bugger.

after posting into the ourobourus-thread (sp?), i came to think about something. will rentar-ihrno become a crystal soul? i mean, shes the greatest vahnatai mage of that time and all, but is she great enough? will the vahnatai despise her actions towards the surface and avernum or will they worship her even more for that? kinda reminds me of obi-wan kenobi in star wars episode VI.

garzahd is quite cool being a half-demon and stuff. erika is just, well... were244 knows what i mean. solberg has the biggest deeds on his account. rentar-ihrno starts... *hrm* spoiler. x is that kinda mystery-guy. linda is a little weird. hard question. i mean none of them ever did some real fighting, actually. garzahd is beaten by the adventurers, erika by rentar-ihrno, rentar-ihrno by adventurers (yep every time), solberg faced grah-hoth, but didnt kill him, linda fled from her own adze-haakai, x doesnt do a thing. hm. ha, i know. PYRN! i mean, what is dedication if not staying in a tower somewhere in the middle of the litteral nowhere, containing a haakai in his human-body-prison with his EYES. for like, forever or something. hes cool. omg i forgot patrick. dunno too much about him, though. got a cool tower.

i also recommend to buy the trilogy as a whole. if you dont have the money for that, id say a2. be warned though that a3 mostly is more fun to people not that used to avernum, because youre outdoors mostly and you have much more freedom to walk around and do whatever you want to do. but still, a2 is the most stylish.

they say there are some, but i have never noticed any differences from a3 to e3 myself. at least concerning the story-line, quests and important areas, you can take the games identical.

i loved that priest attack spell. i dont remember its name, but it was one of the highest spells and caused quite a havoc if casted. maybe its that field thingy you talk about - if i remember correctly, it creates some kinda lightning or "white energy" field(/explosion?) in a radius of like 5-8 squares of its target. that one was fun. heh. (fried lizard comin up!) edit: i just noticed gunshy wrote "move mountains 2 and light 3". well, thats not right. you get move mountains 2 and far sight 2. however, everybody knows about that "secret" anyway, so what the heck.

please always add what game it is and if necessary what mission/where/when. alorael is right. do that and youll get the statue. if you dont know how to get into the lair, take a look at rache's a3 site. gratz alorael, btw. 8000 already. nice.

well thats new tunes. last couple of times i witnessed a similar action, all hell broke out. however. the blue demon is a haakai. the one in the tom is (an?) adze-haakai, if i remember correctly. in case you mean the mung demon, i think its... well i dont know. im not a fan of it. dont ask me why. @gunshy: watch your tongue.

your friend would have to install virtual pc and stuff like that. doesnt really pay off. i dont know if its possible to convert the sav files by a 3rd program, but if it is, it wouldnt pay off either.

of course i could use some kind of hex editor, but i very much doubt that my computer would go through that procedure without taking serious harm. however, my little kitty warrior does an average 100 dmg anyway, so if im cautious ill be ok, i think. thanks.

im so stupid. im playing a party through a3 right now and am quite satisfied with it. my slot 1 human custom fighter though had too little AP for my taste. so when he was almost lvl 17, i deleted him and created a nephil fighter instead. then i set his skills etc to the exact settings the human fighter had. it was then i realized i couldnt edit the character lvl by using the editor. any way to help me? those 29 hp arent gonna help me vs the giants. (i have no savegame before that point. ill start lvl him up now, but a faster solution would be appreciated.)

well, considering the fact that it doesnt take over two years to do the largest update i can think of, i very much doubt there will ever be one. who knows if that guy is still alive? or maybe he is busy eating the worlds largest pizza or something.

lol. or what about the rebel. he could stand in front of a horde of angered alien beasts, wielding a steel transparent (+) saying "the surface belongs to us" and screaming through a megafone. or a party of rebels. together, they could use a party skill, the "protest chain". defense bonus 50%, needs handcuffs.
