  1. I found that in the demo the Iron Spear works best. I also noticed that there are not many high-damage dealing weapons in the game. I think Demonslayer deals the highest you can get.
  2. If you have the Orb of Thranli you can fly over the mountains right below the city and you don't have to fight anyone.
  3. -First, name any character Liam. -Second, add any complimenting adjectives to the end with "the" before them (i.e: the great, the best, the beast, etc.) Just like in real life. -Third, customize him to give him high dexterity, tool use, and luck, just like in real life. -Fourth, equip him with a spear, pants, bow, and give him a flagon to carry around. Just like in real life. (NOTE: In real life my bow does NOT work, considering it is made out of cheap pine wood and string, and the arrows are made of twigs.) -Fifth, enjoy the special encounters with the shades. (NOTE: The encounter with the Formello Shade may/will contain innapropriate language, some sexual scenes, references of TM, and exploding mice. Just like in real life) There you go. This should help HT was here

  5. When I was still in the demo I was wondering if I could kill them before they could heal, so I downloaded the trainer and stacked up only my strength and I couldn't get it beyond 1 HP and when it had its turn it regenerated its health and kicked the crap out of me.
  6. You need a few powerful items, a mystic scepter, and a rackload of strength points.
  7. I've tried to have a party of three NPC's, a Sword, a Spear, and a Mage/Priest but the Wizard couldn't get enough experience in spells so I had to lug around scrolls and potions with me all the time. ><
  8. No, I haven't messed with any of the scripts. Well, I've used the trainer a few times, but I don't think that would affect anything. And how would I move my save files?

  10. 1) It is split equally between the party's members. 1a) To answer in the clearest way, suppose you kill a goblin. Say you get 8 experience from killing it. So if you have 4 party members then each member gets 2 experience. If you only have 1 party member though than he gets the 8 experience. 1b) Neither since they can come back to life just by entering a friendly town. 2) Only if you level up.
  11. Darnit. It took me a while to get this far and now my game is screwed up.
  12. First character usually has a greatsword Second has a bow and a broadsword + shield Third has a Halberd Fourth has a sword and thrown missles, but are usually never used because of spells. I'm so used so playing Avernum when I play Exile I only use four characters.
  13. when I click OK it just takes me back to where I was. Then I click the pylon again and the same messsage shows up.
  14. At the end of the game I just killed Rentar and there's a pylon in the back where I'm supposed to leave by, because the other exits are blocked by rubble. It just says "you concentrate on the castle..." but I don't go anywhere. Something I need to do first?
  15. Lets just say that it makes things a heck of a lot easier later in the game.

  17. A - Re-download it B - Make sure you got the Windows/Mac version depending on your computer C - Possibly your computer isn't compatible.
  18. If we had an option as a vahnatai it would mess up the plot, being most of the vahnatai are evil.

Because you really, really enjoy wasting skill points on two different weapon skills and the most useless skill in the game? I remember when I played Exile II and didn't know about any of the other games (I got the demo off Games Arcade) I took the trouble of training my Nephil with the Poison Skill trait and I would fire poisoned arrows at goblins and run from them.
