  1. I was under the impression that Wall of Blades was for Exile, not Avernum. Or perhaps I never played far enough to get that.
  2. Being a full time pirate - 90,000 gold Having a Black Halberd - priceless
  3. Quote: Originally written by Spring: I've always found that, along with your party archer, capturing the Empire Archers soul (the one in the slime caves) is quite handy. Very true. During the Tower of Magi fight against the Mung Demons and Haakai I summoned five Empire Archers to shoot down the stray Imps and act as meatshields.
  4. Ah. Using arrows on non-ranged boss monsters with weaker parties is helpful while it is charging forward.
  5. That would enable Super-God-Mode. EDIT: Also enabling summoning GITFS.
  6. Using Arrows of Life against undead is very helpful. The Great Potato, using razordisks is fun with the fun swooshing noise, but they are harder to find and far more expensive. Also, you can find enchanted bows/crossbows and arrows/bolts but razordisks don't come in many varities. :-P
  7. Randell is in the Tower. Btw, Strength increases bow attacks as well as melee attacks. Using Strength, Bless, Haste, and other boosts should make your archer more powerful.
  8. With my main archer Mathuzar, he was equipped with 40 Killer Poisons I bought from Randall's Item Shop (hint: use Shift + D to refresh items in shop), the Fury Crossbow, a handfull of magic bolts, and an Assasin's Knife for backup. The damage wasn't very good, but he was helpful with levels like the Giant Caves due to the lava blocking me off from giants, making my melee characters useless.
  9. I suppose others have done it but I can't recall if I have.
  10. I found this quest somewhat odd. I understand the fact that he might want more clothes for comfort, but a sword?
  11. I think there's something like that in Drakefyre's Demesne. EDIT: Yeah, there is. Check Vahnatai Week.
  12. I understand that the main point of this topic is about your editor, but possibly a better idea would be to post the topic's name as "Editor Update" or "I'm Back, Now for Work" or something less missleading.
  13. I've always wondered, is the 6% Hostile Effect Resistance just +6 in all of your armor categories, or is it something else?
  14. Indeed. I have the Ghostly Blade on my archer to curse enemies, then shoot them. =)
  15. Some people's opinion on acid may be different than yours. Some might thing it is a fine bathing substance, while others might prefer it as a cool refereshing energy drink.
  16. I bought it, and it was worth every penny. I re-played it twice.
  17. Agreed. The name itself is strange, being that you cannot destroy mountains with Move Mountains. Or move them for that matter. You might be able to destroy them if they had a giant crack running down one side or if they were covered with mold (E2 reference)
  18. You are trying to make peace with the Empire in A4, so going up and killing them all would probably ruin the storyline.

  20. I say Queen Antillolia because it's easier to avoid all the guards in the town, while killing the Battlemaster you have to fight more strong guards.

  22. That's what I meant. It makes towns non-hostile, it dosen't bring back dead people.
