    Why?

Are you sure you gave them the correct code? If not, call them, tell them what happened, and they'll give you a new one.
  2. The Dream Team from SPS versus the Mirror Party from NoE.
  3. It is an assassin. They do not tell the rest of the story, as it is very sad.
  4. Or perhaps Jeff wisely realized that the 'sexy pale green chick' thing is just creepy when you cross the gender spectrum with it. Seriously, if he intended the agents to be double-gendered, he could have made it less obvious or he could have made them FBI-style or something. But no.
  5. Well, no. I'm a liar.

  9. I think the problem is that Jeff seems to be aiming for Lovecraftian horror and missing miserably.
  10. And if you're having trouble finding the center, press 5 on the numpad.
  11. Bump.
  12. I've been looking through TM's links, Khoth's site, and so forth, and I can't manage to find something there should probably be a lot more of: a good variety of nephil graphics. I'm looking for Neph civilians - not armed, not magical, and not color-edits. If they're a bit bigger than normal, that's fine too. Anyone with some graphical talent care to look into that? Thanks! Oh, and dialog(ue?) graphics would be nice too.
  13. Notus -- I'll be glad to see the windows version when it comes out! Great work, from what I've seen and heard.
  14. And SPS embodies a reaction to clever, nuanced fusion of combat and plot. I fully plan to make a spiritual successor which is a nice, straightforward, non-philosophical romp, either for BoE or BoA, in the eventual future.
  15. AT THE END OF RHAPSODY IN BLUE IT IS REVEALED THAT PRAZAC AND RENTAR WERE THE SAME PERSON ALL ALONG

Doesn't E1 have APs now instead of the old one man, one action system? —Alorael, who confesses that he doesn't play the older Exiles very much. Yes, he is one of those Avernum lovers your parents and certain board members tell you to avoid. AFAIK, Exile has had APs forever. I played Exile 1 a long, LONG time ago, never got a patched version (mine was from the AOL library), and it always had APs. Exile 1.00 did not have APs. Then again, it got ported to PC after 1.00, and most people have never even heard of it.

  20. Sir Robin sucked -- note the past tense. So do you -- note the present tense. That is all.
  21. I am certain that, in spite of the polite admonitions of the best and brightest of the community, you will be able to complete this project anyway. I mean, what does more people and better people failing on a project half this scale and twice as useful as this mean to you? You're magic.
  22. If I were SW, I'd consider letting Ms. Strout go. She really hasn't done a lot for community rapport, and it might be wiser to hire someone who would resonate better with the community to work in her capacity. A convicted child-molester perhaps, or an ardent neo-Nazi.
  23. This is what PMs or emails are for.
  24. I've been around forever, and not really produced anything of note. I plan to stick around forever, too, even though my solemn oath never to touch BoA will interfere even more with my being useful. Since antiquity, by the Stareye scale -- I remember the release of BoE for Windows.
  25. I think I can do better, tin man.
