  1. According to instructions Lightning Aura & Acid are supposed to wear off over time. Lightning Aura is supposed to wear off even sooner. However I've yet to have that happen. I sat there healing a unit over and over and the damage kept coming. Also, how do I remove a Lightning Aura?
  2. A correction is needed. Dhonal's Ring is +2 Melee, +1 STR, +1 Leadership and not +2 Leadership. Also, how do I get the Infiltrator's Shield? I've wandered through the West, Middle, and East ends trying to find a way past the pylons without luck.
  3. How do I get to the Infiltrator's shield? I've been combing this area trying to find a way past and I've turned off all the switches I can find.

  5. Where are the trainers teaching me shaping? I've not been able to find anything beyond 2nd tier.
  6. Little Snitch I've noticed. I've not has anything pop up using Growl yet.
  7. No. However, the program will still try to quit when another program interrupts even if I am in windowed mode.
  8. When running GF5 I notice that I cannot tab out to another program or switch to another desktop. However other programs that interrupt gameplay will cause GF5 to bring up the quit dialog box and prompt me to save. Either option I choose will then see the game quit. Is this supposed to happen? I am running 10.5.5. Background programs include Growl, Little Snitch, NAV, and Software Update.

  15. If auto hill is on you cannot replace the hill terrain with another terrain such as the cave entrance.
  16. Place the mouse cursor over the floor. That is how the editor detects where to place a terrain when you click. You can also switch to the 2D view.
  17. Since BoE doesn't do splash screens I wasn't exactly expecting the designer to include it. However if you come up with a way to do it such as tweaking OBoE and packaging it into 1 awesome bundle I won't complain.
  18. Well... #1 is inside, #2 is in a shadow shrouded forest, #3 is nighttime, #4 is pretty light, and #5 in underground. I guess the shadows are dark, but before I posted them I made sure they weren't that dim. You should be able to see them with little trouble in well-lit room.
  19. The goal of this contest is to use any number the following images (at least 1) to come with a SHORT scenario. The scenario should use the image such that it is central to plot. In their scenario / entry submission contestants should provide a list of images used. RULES: 1. Use at least 1 of the following images. 3. List the images chosen. 4. Enter by January 31, 2008. 5. Create a SHORT BoX scenario. Short means the scenario can be finished in 2 hours or less. Rough, but not absolute, guidelines are < 20 towns. 6. Do not use a BoX scenario that has already been released.   20. There is the curious thing. Nothing is ever actually assigned to the target variable. Only functions are called. A creature does not need a target variable defined to acquire and do after a target.
  21. In basicnpc there are 2 variables, i and target, but neither appears to be used in the scripts? I am currently modifying a creature script and my question is whether I should leave these variables in or remove them?
