Well I'm in Astoria's faction right now and I've got the mission for the Spires. No one is angered yet thankfully... What about Rawal's quest (non-faction) to slay Platano?

Damage is weapon * thorn correct? Thus a submission baton (6 - 42), thorns (1 - 7) does 6 - 294 against 0 armor?

What type of status effect is Submission? Stun? Also, what about reapers?

So get Ghaldring quest#1 but don't swear. Then go Pro-Shaper and swear to Taygen to get the second. Then go on a killing spree...

It would be easier to edit the script to give me a second fiber. However, it would be more interesting to find a way to unlock the area... Besides I can't join Taygen's faction right now. Edit: You know, any of these items should be available to any faction so long as your willing to wade neck deep in the blood of your enemies.

Yeah, Blessing Crystals add to armor%. Should have noted that it is armor or resistances. Just ran the calculations and yep, I'm getting multiplication instead of addition. Edit: There is an item missing from the wands: Wand of Death. I have noticed that augmented resistances vary from 2% to 6%. However this is not due to the item enhanced. I took a 22% armor and added a blessing crystal. It re-equipped it for 26% total. It added a blessing crystal to Dhonal's Ring and I got a 2% boost. I removed other items and it instead showed a 3% boost. Whatever code Jeff uses to sum up armor and resistances is off. I've tested this with Runed Ruby, Amethyst, and Etheral Bindings. All vary. Also, this is not due to some items lowering a resist. I checked.

What areas of the game are only accessible to certain factions? Edit: What control keys are faction only?

I way I've found to get close enough is to hover the mouse next to the monster. If the mouse has a little X over the icon then you just move there and you are 99% of the time in melee range.

I'm in Astoria's faction right now and Quote has no new spells. I think they may come after I finish her first faction quest. Quothe tells me that advanced shaping will be available after I have proven myself.

Simply survive the attack. Presumably you are able to get past later in the game.

1. 2 Vlish + 2 Cryoa + Alpha = Rotgroth. The Alpha to take a beating. 2. Stealth is good, but you have to maintain your distance. I don't know if it count for scripted detection ranges. 3. The middle road is safe as long as a passage stone is equipped when they see you and you have 11 leadership. There is no need to go to the middle first. 4. The Wingbolt came from a mine. Disable the mine (move very very carefully). Summoned creatures vanish when you leave town.

Do the Power Constructs ever drop anything? I've never survived past the first one (lightning aura...) so I just stand in the middle until they all vanish. Unfortunately while I do miss out on XP, I don't know about any useful items they carry. Also, where in the scripts are a named creature's drops listed?

Your Alpha will likely fall too unless you keep curing. Sneak - Go to the Middle Shadow Road. Sneak past the guards to the North Corner w/ all the mines. Disable the mines and grab the Passage Stone. Equip it. Check to see if your Leadership is 11. If yes, just stroll inside to the center and grab the Infiltrator Tunic. Return and sneak past the Rot, grab the bauble and sneak out.
