They then retreat into their sanctuary, sadened after so many losses. Hypno and Vidara fight to their deaths, bravley in Kayar but cannot stop their enemies. They take the location of the Vault/Sanctuary to their graves. The remaining doctors live quitely on, not influcening terresita in any significant way. This ending was more or less the one I had planned shuld the RP end like this . I think communication is the biggest downfall for these things. As far as to how the overlord ends I say 50/50 chance of him conquering terristra but even if he fell the survivors would be hard press to eradicate the invasive species he planted. Basically, Dantius snaps and is exiled, and the Gazers cannot lead themselves effectively without him. They collapse under the weight of their empire and scatter throughout Terrestia. Dantius, in this case, was based off the Mule in Foundation: he builds an empire off of his powers, but after he dies, it simply collapses under its own weight. Your Faction could be writen off by a Large kraken like creature. Mabey some old failed Type-1 Shape experiment went wrong and unknown to you, there is a kraken living beneath your flight path. In Avernum, her son Edward would have become King Edward the Cruel of Avernum, and the old king would end up in Alec's Abyss, probably. Damn, wish that thread wasn't gone. I would have loved to go into detail and make cool pictures to go along with some of those events.
