Delayed response here, but: you create 7 vlish as early as possible and that gets you through the entire GAME. Due to the grossly overpowered nature of G3 Vlish, and due to the breakable way G3 handles levelling up creations, 7 vlish allow you to coast through the entire game even on Torment.http://www.ironycentral.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=62244#Post62244

Tenderfoot Thahd FragmentFour
I'm replaying Geneforge 1 and 2 (and will move on through 3 and 4)while spinning my wheels and waiting for the fifth and final game to be released for Windows. But... I have an ongoing problem. Has anybody ever figured out a way to maneuver all these factions into getting along? How about any two of them? I keep thinking that there must be some way, some key response or combination of decisions, that would work out a way for everybody to get what they need... Is it a forgone conclusion that there must be a single way? Am I doomed before I even start?
Understated Ur-Drakon Nioca
You can't make the factions get along. Sorry.
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
In GF1, I don't know what basis for compromise the factions have. The Awakened think that the Obeyers are pathetic and the Takers are crazy. The Obeyers are scared of the other two. The Takers think that the Obeyers are sniveling and the Awakened aren't extreme enough. When they all fundamentally disagree, compromise is tricky. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Plus all the factions kill and/or torture any spies they find from the other factions. Just go back and see the red stain at the last location where you reported a spy.

And in hindsight, it's pretty clear that the Takers were crazy but also right. It's kind of depressing that in light of what happens in future games, the "Trajkov wins" ending would clearly have produced a better result than the canonical path. Magnificent Ornk Dikiyoba
The Obeyers were also right, up until their ending was retconned to make room for the sequels. (Well, that or the Obeyers were right but the PC chose a different ending.) Dikiyoba.

It's impossible; believe me, I've tried. And tried. And tried (in G1-G3 anyway). Each faction seems too narrow-minded and stubborn to listen to what the others have to say, to the point that merely hinting at suggesting a compromise can be hazardous to your health.
