Articulate Vlish Who flung poo
Hey yeah, I'm trying to find the creator of this site (http://members.aol.com/zzhou22876/index.html) but for some reason when I click on contact us on his site, it says that it is unaccesable, I wanted to ask him where I could get songs similar to the ones used on his site so I can play them while I am playing Exile. The main reason I have never completed the Exile series is because I'm not comfortable when there is no background sound or music and Exile I and II have no background sounds at all, and yeah, I hope you can understand what I mean, so if anyone is willing to help yeah just post a reply. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There is no great way to make parties. I usually go with 3 fighters in front (pole weapon, sword, archer/thief) and 3 spellcasters in back (pure mage, mage/priest, priest/potion maker). I make the fighters have maximum strength (20) and endurance by the end of the game and the spellcasters have maximum intelligence for increased spell energy and damage (although my first game of Exile 3 had near minimum intelligence and I still won). Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
In Exile 2 or 3, don't delete any of the characters in the prefab party. Instead, simply edit them. This will give you more total skill points. Unless you prefer to have less skill points to work with, of course. As for party composition, I usually give everyone 3 or 4 intelligence and some knowledge of magic, because at the beginning I think magic is more effective than melee combat. However, usually three of them are more specialised in spells whereas the other three have decent combat abilities as well.
Easygoing Eyebeast The Mystic
Plus, when you start your game, nephil PCs get a point of dexterity added; sliths get a point each og strength & intelligence. (At least that's what happens in E3, I haven't touched E2 in years.) This adds a little flexibility when creating your party. Magic is good. Very good. So much so that I make all my PCs combination priests/mages, with one of them as an alchemist and another good with lockpicks/traps. Melee, despite its merits, is pretty much secondary to my playing style.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
Back to the original post in this topic, Akhronath's site triggered the anti-phishing filter on my PC. The alert said that it might be an impersonation of a trustworthy site.
