Missile Training

Recommended Posts

Hi,

can anyone tell me what I am missing, says missile weapons is a level 5, but also says I can’t use the baton because missile training must be at least 4?!?!

Is there another section for training?

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Are you using any items that grant a missile weapons bonus like Deadeye Cloak? Weapons require you to have used skill points to reach the needed level.

Welcome to Spiderweb Software. Please leave your sanity at the door. It's completely worthless and taking up space.  :)

Wait, I have to buy missile weapons before I can actually use missile weapons? One level is enough or you should have bought as many levels as the weapon you use?

For Shaping... I had Battle Shaping 2+1 from jerkin and I could create iron clawbugs that require 3. Same for spells. I have the Carnelian gloves and they allow me to cast level 3 spells.

I think the Roamertooth Band does count towards Missile Weapons for some reason.

😢I sold it...

Steel javelins do more damage than my firebolt. And I find lots and lots of "2 missile!" batons and I have a couple of Guardian Weapon Shapings that should be usable with missile weapons.

There's at least 1 more Roamertooth Band in the game, fyi, though by the time you get it, you might already have better options for your PC.

It's a weird thing and mostly applies to melee weapons. Some missile weapons like javelins and shaped lances don't need extra training.

It works the same way as Deadeye Cloak, it doesn't allow you to equip things.
