Fledgling Fyora ansky
Hello all. I feel like this must be a silly question but I'm pretty deep into Avadon: The Black Fortress and have yet to find any arrows. One of my fighters has a bow and is trained is archery but I can't use it because I don't know where to get arrows. Back in the day when I played the Exile games, they were everywhere. Please help. Thanks!
Rotghroth Rhapsody Ess-Eschas
You haven’t found any arrows because they’re not necessary for this game. You can use your bows without any separate arrow item – just equipping a bow is enough to start using ranged attacks. Just think of the Hand as being well-prepared, and always taking enough arrows with them. In other words, you can use your bows right now. Give it a try! Otherwise, welcome to the forums! We’re always happy to help answer questions, so feel free to stop by again if anything more comes up!
Ineffable Wingbolt TriRodent
And, no offense to E-E for not pointing out...but it may not be obvious, the same applies to javelins & razordisks. Just equip them & you have all the consumable ammo that you need. And let me add my welcome also - please leave your sanity at the door. Fledgling Fyora ansky
Oh my goodness, thank you so much. That did occur to me and I thought I tried it. I'll try again. And yup, bought a ton of razordisks and found out quickly that I didn't need them all. Haha, oops. Thanks again friends! Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
shadowwalker benefits most from razordisks but there aren't many situations where sw needs to use ranged attack instead melee attack.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
But dexterity contributes to most evasion calculations so you can make a shadowwalker that takes little damage compared to what he can deal out to foes.
