Tenderfoot Thahd Fuss&Feathers
I was wondering...given the higher level armor's tendency to have -5 & worse to hit. Did anyone who got all the Radiant and all the First Expedition Armors & Weaons ever figure out how far in the hole negative a player who wore all Radiant or All first expedition armor would be? It seems almost anything interesting or interestingly protective has a more negatives that prevent usefulness. Sigh. Curiously Keet
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
The accuracy penalties are a problem early on, especially on higher difficulties, but by the endgame your fighters should be able to wear whatever armour they like and still hit 95% of the time, provided you invested enough in Strength. Tenderfoot Thahd Fuss&Feathers
Lilith? How much strength is enough, approximately? I am giving fighters strength & some endurance in the interest of survival, 1 dex & at least 1 IQ in the vain hope of improving their resistance to certain magic before I can buy them resistance. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Don't bother with any Dexterity or Intelligence on melee fighters: on lower difficulties they're unnecessary and on higher difficulties they won't help. If you want to optimise, put at least 75-80% of your stat points into Strength and the rest into Endurance.
Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
Does the trait "Strong Back" influence To Hit in a meaningful way?
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Strong back is there to carry more weight before hitting the encumbrance limit for low strength characters. It shouldn't affect to hit.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
there are 3 traits which increase to hit chance and 2 are for dualwielders and most likely only 1 point per trait can be invested to those.
