Articulate Vlish resmc157
I have downloaded and extracted the .exe and the picture files for Lamentations, and placed them in the correct folder (BladeScen). This procedure has worked with every other scenario, yet the scenario does not appear in the Custom Scenarios list. Could someone please help me out here? edit: I have also noticed that Falling Stars doesn't work either. I would have thought that it may be a problem with the Alcritas files, but An Apology worked just fine.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Hmm. Where are you downloading them from? And have you made sure there are fewer than 20 scenarios in your scenario folder?
Articulate Vlish resmc157
Oooo. There are more than 20 scenarios. That's why. *smacks self in forehead* Thanks for that reminder, Thuryl.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
You're welcome. It's a pretty annoying limitation, really; I try to avoid it by only keeping scenarios I'm actively playing at the time in my scenarios folder, and putting other scenarios in another folder for storage. Garrulous Glaahk Slith Lord
Maybe it will be possible (sometime) to create another scenario folder. Then you can choose between them and you got never such problems!
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
If BoE hasn't been updated in the past 5 years, it's a safe bet that it's not going to be updated now.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
More like six now I believe...but yeah, making poor people update, that would be like, too confusing.
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
The worst part is that judging by the number of posts in the BoA forums that are replied to with "Update your version of BoA already", Jeff's fears were well-founded. >_<
Garrulous Glaahk Slith Lord
But just think of the idea, I think it would solve one of my most important problems!
Ineffable Wingbolt DesertPlah
Just because I've been out of the loop: does BoA need updating?
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon
The latest version is indicated in the forum header of the BoA forum. As to whether it could use another update, check out the bugs page and list of undocumented bugs , and judge for yourself.

Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Actually, the list of things that don't work properly in BoE is at least twice as long, but still.

Ineffable Wingbolt DesertPlah
Sorry Kel, my internet here is gay; it won't let me look at a "games" related site. I suppose I can use somewhat-nefarious methods to view it, though. =D

Well-Actually War Trall Ash Lael
What's the matter, Kel? Can't you respect other people's internets, just because they're different? It's not like they have a choice, that's just the way they're connected. Why must you discriminate so?

When i was in high school (last year) i tried putting Firefox on a usb flash drive to see if I could get past the filters. Unfortunately, the only way I could get it to connect was to set it to use the same proxy as Internet Explorer, thus enabling the filter for Firefox as well. i still used Firefox though. It's a far superior browser.
Garrulous Glaahk Slith Lord
The school filters for game sites are horrible, I wasn´t even able to get at the Doomguards Realm or Motrax´ site! Netscape and Firefox are the best two browsers and I use them both!
Well-Actually War Trall BainIhrno
Well, you shouldn't be looking at game sites at school in the first place.
Easygoing Eyebeast ben4808
Well, the only reason you'd be visiting is for retrieval of vital information [for your games], therefore making the whole experience of educational intent. A trip to the butcher's shop would also be educational, but that's not condoned either. School administrators usually prefer that you learn about what they want you to learn about. Magnificent Ornk Aran
The ironic part of it all, of course, is that these boards appear to be accessible without problem.
