How to Kill Redmark - potential spoilers

I decided to join the Darkside loyalists but I have no idea how to kill Redmark. I can't destroy his pylons - they go down to 1 HP and then ... nothing - they just don't get destroyed. What can I do to take them out of action?

If I remember correctly, you're supposed to bring them down as far as possible, then start to attack Redmark himself.

If you have the spell points, spamming divine retribution really helps.

First bring down all defense pylons to 1HP, after that you can attack Redmark.

oh! so we will have to kill Redmark

Once you do enough damage to them then the pylons spend their action regenerating instead of attacking.

 

You only need to weaken the pylon behind the throne to remove Redmark's shield, however the other pylon attacks are too irritating to leave them alone.

i don't know about that, just because you want to kill someone doesn't mean it's a quest. in this case it obviously is, but yeah.
