Fortunately, Jeff has updated them to run natively in OS X, and they even run fine on Intel Macs with Rosetta. You must be using old versions of the games. Try downloading the newest versions from Spiderweb.

 

—Alorael, who hopes this helps. The only other difficulty you'll run into is your games unregistering. For that, you need to contact Jeff, send the name and address you registered the games under, and ask for new codes.

I'm pretty sure you understood what he meant, and the Mac/PC rather than Mac/Windows divide has become enshrined in Apple's own commercials.

 

—Alorael, who on the other hand has had absolutely no trouble getting old Spiderweb games to run with CrossOver. The original Nethergate doesn't have to be lost to newer Macs while Wine is around.
