Cyrstal soul in pyrogs cave

I already rescued pyrog and quickfire killed everything, this mean the crystal soul is dead?

The crystal soul is a special in the fort not an actual monster/npc so it can't be killed and will always be there. Are you in Pyrogs lair or was their just some confusion as to the name?

I think you must be confusing Sulfras (the live dragon you rescued and who unleashed quickfire on the fort she was in) with Pyrog (who's dead and lives somewhere else).

Yeah there isn't any crystal souls in Sulfras's lair, just the Onyx scepter which you were looking for earlier. You can now go back to the teleporter place and finish that mission In Pyrog's lair however....

There is no Crystal Soul in Sulfras' lair. It's in the fortress where Pyrog's lair once was. Another is in Angierach, and the third in the Ornotha Ziggurat.

I do not recall anyone, anywhere calling Akhronath, Angierach. So we should go by what the game actually says it is when you are around it, what you refer to it by in conversations and what it is called when you enter it, Akhronath.

Which is annoying, because Exile 1 also referred to the Shattered Fort as Akhronath.

I just got to this point in exile 1 (referring the the shattered fort). The dungeon name is Shattered Fort, but it is reffered to as Akhronath in the hint book and also by the mage in the castle (just south and a little west in the royal personal quaters 1st or 2nd door on the left).

I dont remember encountering any of those fortresses anywhere : / Think you could give general locations please?

The Akhronath with the crystal soul in it is west of Fort Remote, in the far southwest of Exile.

Not that locations will help you get into the fortresses. The ziggurats location is north of Erika's Tower quite a ways, and a little east if I remember correctly. I think that it is built on top of the fort that was destroyed by Khoth in E1.

Of course, knowing that is no help at all, because reaching the Ziggurat is a special event that requires assistance from an outside party.

You don't need the Vahnatai to get into the Ziggurat, but if you wish to succeed in penetrating its outer defenses it will help to have them along your side.

I misread the statement about reaching the Ziggurat, I thought it said to get into the Ziggurat, not what it really says. You are correct, to get to it's area, you need the Vahnatai's help, but you don't need them to actually get into the Ziggurat.
