Tenderfoot Thahd Court Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 I already rescued pyrog and quickfire killed everything, this mean the crystal soul is dead? Quote
Rotghroth Rhapsody Sticky Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Rescued Pyrog? Thats amazing as he is the skeleton in the eastern part of the fort The crystal soul is a special in the fort not an actual monster/npc so it can't be killed and will always be there. Are you in Pyrogs lair or was their just some confusion as to the name? Quote
Well-Actually War Trall Sarachim Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 I think you must be confusing Sulfras (the live dragon you rescued and who unleashed quickfire on the fort she was in) with Pyrog (who's dead and lives somewhere else). Quote
Tenderfoot Thahd Court Posted September 14, 2004 Author Posted September 14, 2004 ahhhh ok, yeah I get dragon names messed up : / I still cant find any of the cyrstal souls Quote
Rotghroth Rhapsody Sticky Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Yeah there isn't any crystal souls in Sulfras's lair, just the Onyx scepter which you were looking for earlier. You can now go back to the teleporter place and finish that mission In Pyrog's lair however.... Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 There is no Crystal Soul in Sulfras' lair. It's in the fortress where Pyrog's lair once was. Another is in Angierach, and the third in the Ornotha Ziggurat. If you want more specific spoilers, post and ye shall find. —Alorael, who doesn't think a little thing like Quickfire would phase a Crystal Soul. They're rocks! Quote
Kyshakk Koan Xan Kreigor Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 The second one is in Akhronath not Angierach. Alorael this is an Exile topic not Avernum. Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 So it is. I stand corrected! —Alorael, who therefore recommends that you do not look for Vyvnas-Bok in Angierach. Quote
Well-Actually War Trall Sarachim Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I'm pretty sure it's called by both names in E2, actually. Quote
Kyshakk Koan Xan Kreigor Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I do not recall anyone, anywhere calling Akhronath, Angierach. So we should go by what the game actually says it is when you are around it, what you refer to it by in conversations and what it is called when you enter it, Akhronath. Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Which is annoying, because Exile 1 also referred to the Shattered Fort as Akhronath. Quote
Kyshakk Koan Xan Kreigor Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Where did it say that? Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 In the hintbook, for one thing. Possibly in the game as well. Quote
Fledgling Fyora Captain Toilet Finger Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I just got to this point in exile 1 (referring the the shattered fort). The dungeon name is Shattered Fort, but it is reffered to as Akhronath in the hint book and also by the mage in the castle (just south and a little west in the royal personal quaters 1st or 2nd door on the left). Quote
Tenderfoot Thahd Court Posted September 18, 2004 Author Posted September 18, 2004 I dont remember encountering any of those fortresses anywhere : / Think you could give general locations please? Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 The Akhronath with the crystal soul in it is west of Fort Remote, in the far southwest of Exile. Quote
Rotghroth Rhapsody Sticky Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Not that locations will help you get into the fortresses. The ziggurats location is north of Erika's Tower quite a ways, and a little east if I remember correctly. I think that it is built on top of the fort that was destroyed by Khoth in E1. Quote
Chittering Clawbug I Am Damo Suzuki Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Of course, knowing that is no help at all, because reaching the Ziggurat is a special event that requires assistance from an outside party. Quote
Kyshakk Koan Xan Kreigor Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 You don't need the Vahnatai to get into the Ziggurat, but if you wish to succeed in penetrating its outer defenses it will help to have them along your side. Quote
Rotghroth Rhapsody Sticky Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 Sure- And How Do you get through the tunnel w/o them? Ah and thnx for the tip on the map Quote
Kyshakk Koan Xan Kreigor Posted September 22, 2004 Posted September 22, 2004 I misread the statement about reaching the Ziggurat, I thought it said to get into the Ziggurat, not what it really says. You are correct, to get to it's area, you need the Vahnatai's help, but you don't need them to actually get into the Ziggurat. Quote
Well-Actually War Trall Cairo Jim Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 this is all nice, but i haven't registered any if the exiles. Quote
Magnificent Ornk Kelandon Posted September 27, 2004 Posted September 27, 2004 Am I just completely blind and out of it? What was the point of that post? Reviving a dead topic, no less. And don't tell anyone, but I don't own any of the Exiles, either. Quote
