  1. Yay Selos! Start time of 6 is a change from the usual start time of 5, right? If Duck levels up, it will most likely happen on April 1. The same time Dantius will start a new character who's a philanthropist with jolly disposition.
  2. For real? Wow. Didn't people voluntarily sign up for this?

  4. Ehh...I remember the final battle at the end of Beauty and Beast (the Disney movie), and I don't think it'd be too hard to go from that to an army of food...
  5. LOL. Some of the stuff in that article isn't all that far from things that happen in AIMHack...

  7. KOTOR 2 was pretty buggy, and likely to give you trouble, but KOTOR is just all-around excellent!

  9. I will NOT be around on Sunday to sub, so Duck better step up and play his character.
  10. Yay for Diki and Boregloaf! *cheers for spinning death-goblin* I'll be happy if Bloodmarsh has to wait because then the next Selos session can be sooner. ...Rowen, your profile picture is strange and yet amusing.
  11. I guess my problem, then, must simply be the lack of numeric keypad. I think most laptops lack that, don't they? I just thought I remember playing some form of Exile back in the (on a desktop, admittedly) using the arrow keys. Well, whatever. Thanks for the comments!!!
  12. In the interest of making the stats match the way the character acts... Click to reveal.. Lanrezac, the historian (Level 5) Strength: 3 Dexterity: 3 Intelligence: 5 Max Health: 22 HP Magic (Abjuration): 6 Martial (Staves): 4 History: 4 Perception: 1 Thievery: 1 Diplomacy: 1
  13. I had a LOT of fun with some of our...discussions. :-) Oh, and you really can't criticize us for getting lost. Just saying. :-P Also, it's crazy that I rolled seven natural 20's last session, and NO 20's at all this session. Time and chance and all, but still weird. We are a crazy group of jungle explorers. Silly bandits should beware. I loved some of the comments about Boomy: Lanrezac "Nixak...are you SERIOUSLY going to try to infiltrate Sarden, city of bandits and assassins, feared throughout Mote, with a pet boom squirrel? Because that just screams 'trouble' to me." ----------- Nioca (I just realized how weird other people might find Nixak when his pocket suddenly and inexplicably booms)

But, as I already mentioned, I have a Macbook, so none of those things help, unfortunately. Ah well. I'll survive without BoE. Still, it's awfully weird why the arrow wouldn't work.
  15. The preferences menu has no options that have to do with control, and there're no instructions with the game that give any instructions or list of key functions. I'm really puzzled.
  16. I have a different question about "how to play," that I'll just poke into this topic: is it possible to use the arrow keys? I have a Macbook, and I downloaded the open-source version of BoE, and it works okay...except that it ignore the arrow keys completely. I can only move using the mouse. Is there something I can do about that?
  17. Boom squirrel, Nioca, boom squirrel FTW.
  18. Epic jungle trek! Huzzah! Featuring wild boar, opportunities to get pet boom squirrels, potentially hostile jungle dwellers, bandits, lots of rain, and a journey to the mythical city of Sarden! Contact Zarusa for details should you wish to organize a trip for YOUR dysfunctional group of adventurers! (My summary of the session in advertising form. )
  19. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time It's fascinating to see which places in the world don't observe Daylight Savings Time. Thank you, Ephesos, for making AIMHack such an educational activity.
  20. Thank you, Diki, I have now been enlightened!
  21. Objection, your honor! In the first place, that comment, (in parentheses) was by me, (out of character), not "Lanrezac." Hence the use of (parentheses) rather than "quotation marks." Second, being me, I know that that comment was in reference to the 20. Rolling a natural 20 is always impressive, even one is only succeeding at doing something foolish. The evidence submitted by Miss Vitze's lawyer, Mr. Sarachim, does not mean what he thinks it means. I readily admit, however, that Lanrezac lacked decisiveness, was led astray Vitze, and failed to try to intervene as he should have, instead letting passively letting Vitze run amok. Thus I stated above that he had learned his lesson and would not be so passive in the event of future such actions by Vitze.

Even if we do meet another angry mob, I assure you Lanrezac will not DELIBERATELY incite them to attack the most powerful wizard the party has met and for whom the party is supposed to be working.
  23. Yay! Whatever painful punishment Zarusa metes out , I, at least, have learned my lesson. Next time Vitze does something crazy and self-destructive, I should promptly whack her until she stops.
