Yes! I abhor the new engine. I love A1-A3, due partly to its ingenuous engine, and Geneforge style graphics just aren't my preference.

Usually the only version available to download is the most recent. However, if you really want an older version, I would suggest browsing other websites that have download service for Geneforge.

After completing Avernum several times I'm rather curious about a certain dungeon in the Abyss. It appears to be of Vahnatai origin, but my attempts to bring down the barriers at the entrance are futile. Does anyone know whether this location can be entered? If so please explain.
