  1. Well it probably would depend on what type of mine is used right? I mean, the rebel mines are just organic goo (correct me if I'm wrong). The mines more commonly used by the Shapers are the ones with creature-like characteristics. And even with the shaper mines, if you disarm them, they are still technically alive.
  2. Not so cute when they form packs that are conected through telekinesis and when you attack one it calls all its buddies (if you don't kill it in one hit).
  3. Amazing as it seams, I understood what he meant to say.
  4. A properly grown Rotghroth can speak and has basic reasoning skills. If I remember correctly Vlish are marked as having, "moderate rogue tendencies." So they may go rogue more often than you think.
  5. I think that this would be a good adition to G5.
  6. A perfected ring (platinum ring+purification elixer)+pure crystal shard+purified essence.
  7. You have to put perfected belt + blood poison + deep focus orb all at the same time.
  8. I have a tenative idea that would make temporary creations a more viable option. I'm not sure how many people have thought of this, so please tell me if you like the idea. In G4 there are many enemies and some allies that can shape during combat. What would it be like if you could shape during combat, but only charged/unstable creations? That would make charged creations worth something or at least more interesting.
  9. Does anyone else find it strange that there is one more vote in "I don't think Jeff sympathizes..." in the second question than in the third one.
  10. Just as I expected... Everyone who thinks that Jeff may sympathize with one or the other of the sides think that Jeff is against them. Of course, I can't critisize them for this since I did the same thing and just am aware of it. For some reason we always feel people have it out for us...
  11. I left it out because I wanted to polarize the more traditional conflict, I didn't forget about them. But it is easy to be a martyr in the game, but I doubt many people would really want to fight for a lost cause.
  12. But the more moderate leaders still supported the Unbound project.
  13. Actually you and I are pretty much on the same page except I don't think Shapers are that cruel, overbearing though.
  14. I have recently played through all the Geneforge series (all loyalist, no canisters except in G1 and no magic or shaping in G4) and was just wondering the general concensious was on who you sympotized with and who you may think Jeff sypothizes with based on the script. I know that Jeff can't comment on who he may or may not like more, but I'd like to see how people think based off the script. P.S. I think that Jeff did a good job at making it controversal as to who you favor and doesn't obviously favor one or the other. I'm just wonding how people feel.
  15. I was just thinking about any unbalances in G4 and was wondering if anyone thought there were some tweaks that should be introduced when G5 comes out. I, personally, think that slowing hits that happen automatically with each hit are a bit on the unbalanced side. I know that there weren't really any neccessary foes you had to kill that were overlypowerful in this aspect, but I am biased against it having just run a no magic no nothing character. It got rediculas when the Ur-Drakons were hitting me 10 times in a row without me getting a single AP.
  16. You shouldn't be messing with necromancy, the Shapers forbid it .
  17. Except a similar Geneforge to the one in G4 if you are a "Lifecrafter" I doubt that Jeff will put in a powerful Geneforge in G5.
  18. G1 has originality and the best plot of all of them (in my opinion).
  19. Shapers don't use the same means as the Drakons; they would never release something like the Unbound.
  20. You have to have enough leadership to convince him though.
  21. I'm with Shapers, Alwan style. I believe that the Shapers methods and treatments are gauged towards gradual change for the better. They do it a little too slowly but it is better than the alternatives.
