  1. I always pictured the two Shaper continents connected, but having some geographical obstical between them (ie mountains) or something like North and South America.
  2. Yeah, the one we haven't seen is where there power base is
  3. Yes, these are in every game and are the premice for the canisters and geneforge. The sacs are your cells and the tiny intertwined "scrolls" are your DNA/genes, hence the name Geneforge.
  4. I wonder if we ever will get to see the more settled continent of the Shapers. It is said that that is where the most Shapers are, so far you have stayed on (or just off) of their second, less settled continent.
  5. There is still a decent glass cannon in the infiltrator, I'm playing one right now and when all buffed up, can usually kill most things in one round. And if that doesn't work, you can create lots of disposible creations to act as shields. After all, they are only creations.
  6. I still resent that everyone/thing asumes that if you join the Shapers, it is for self-preservation/rewards. I stand on firm moral ground as I assist the Shapers.
  7. Whenever someone says Titan, I think of the things from Heroes of Might and Magic III.
  8. It said something like, "and your empire lasted as long as you lived, and you live a very, very, long time..." or something like that.
  9. Use Healing Craft as often as possible and you shouldn't have trouble with the number of healing pods as long as you return to town every cleared section or two.
  10. I think one of these days ET is going to come across a bad canister and end up like Master Houge.
  11. I get the feeling that, except in a few select areas, there is very little true poverty in the Shapers' area.
  12. Shapers go from village to village, seeking those who show promice and loyalty. They take the best of these and send them away to schools to learn the shaping arts. The first few years are basically the time in which the students learn how to absorb information quickly and end up not learning any true power until years into their schooling.
  13. Serviles can equal humans, but in general, they are inferial to humans overall. The intellegent serviles that your see in G4 are a pretty small minority. The intellegent serviles feel so sorry for themselves that most are blind to the way the Drakons abuse everything, and are basically as racist (speciest?) as the Shapers. If a servile is happy in its home farming for a human, what right do they have to rip them away from that?
  14. Quote: Originally written by Cryptozoology: Not bad. Now get back to me when you've beaten G4 without canisters, or magic, or creations. I did that and I wasn't an unatural creature myself .
  15. Best to have some diversity. Most people like having at least one wingbolt. Drakons are generally supposed to be good along with its two predicesors. I've heard mixed reviews on eyebeasts.
  16. Imagine what it would be like farming your land and then a pack of a dozen Rtoghroths attack you .
  17. I think we've had the eyebeast/gazer debate before. I thought that overall, people thought Drakons would kill the gazers.
  18. An unlimited army would be way too abusive. Agents could merely create 25 fryoras and stand back and cannon the enemy.
  19. If you opened the gates for them then you will find them in a corner after a few hot pads. They really aren't that helpful when it comes down to it and have a very low survival rate, so I usually spare them the fight.
  20. The first Rotghroth that you ever meet in G3 talks to you. He asks for help with killing a battle alpha.
  21. Also, if you want to see how charged creations could get better and hear more talk about them see Charged Creations Made Viable .
  22. I'm not sure about your question #1... Did you check that your pack wasn't full? Question #2: I seem to recall drayks being better. Question #3: Battle creations never balance out in the later Geneforges. They are mostly weak meat sheilds that lack the ability to do really anything. (Some may argue that the Rotghroth in the later ones is powerful, but I didn't find it that great.)
  23. Can you daze turrets? I don't recall them ever being stopped by my daze.
