  1. Yes!!!!! These updates sound great! Khryk is probably, for me, the most interesting character in Geneforge. I'm glad that G4 is using the only weight is the items you wear endurence system. That was, for me, the only thing that bothered me, the weight system.
  2. I've been thinking and finally decided that this board is mostly from old Spiderweb fans and most of them are attached to the Avernum/Exile story as Jeff's oldest story and therefore stick to that. These boards are dominated by Avernum and Exile fans where as newer spiderweb fan boards are dominated by the Geneforge fans.
  3. I personnally think the backpack thing would work. If you cast a kind of lock spell on it that needed a password of some sort to open you could stop people from taking your stuff. You could give guardians the ability to hide things fast and therefore keep it hidden until you return.
  4. The drakons would just build up again and come and kill you. Akhari kept an many armies in hiding while he built up his forces, they definetly could.
  5. The Shapers most likely outnumber the Rebels. They have 2 continents full of people. The Rebels most likely have to attack the Shapers to get food. They attacked a very populated area, so They could not of set up hidden cities where they farmed. 3 of those islands were unimportant to the Shapers. There are multiple Shaper schools and testing grounds. Only testing at Gull Isle and Dhonal's Keep were important. Gull Isle wasn't prepared for an attack from serviles, a gazer and a drakon. The rebels have fewer drakons, gazers and rots than the shapers have shapers. The base of the rebel army is serviles. The shapers have shapers as the base of their army.
  6. In the first shot, if you look in the minimap, you see a dock. Does this mean islands? It could be the only dock. Or you might not even use it.
  7. Can you give hints as to what the other new creations are?
  8. The message box tells you leveled to level 8 in Shot 1.
  9. The creation has a multi-hit 90 damage attack. Thats better than a drayk. Its very possible that the other fighters take care of the creature and you do nothing. EDIT: Nevermind, I don't think it has a multi-hit attack, but I have a suspition that striking it at close range damages you.
  10. It looks great! The Kyshakk looks like a 3rd tier fire creation, kind of like an upgrade of the roamer. A very deadly upgrade. I think Jeff decided to use the Shaper G3 ending because it says that the Shapers are winning the war. Is the hunched over PC in the first 2 shots a servile. The serviles will have a whole new look if thats one. It seems to be a guardian type PC that uses melee. In the 3rd shot the PC appears to be some kind of Agent character, an Agent that uses shaping instead of melee, or acaracter that is well rounded and doesn't specialize in anything. Is the monster in the 3rd shot, ahead of the glahk a golem? A battle alpha? Or, a new creation.
  11. She probably leads a life as an exotic merchant and often gets "opportunities" to get rare items and has to leave for awhile often.
  12. The larger population of Agents probably stay hidden from most people. If people knew who killed their Uncle, don't you think someone would do something?
  13. I kill them because they are, most likely, criminals hiding from the law.
  14. You should be able to buy creation shaping for your Drakon. Like it starts out with only create fyora, but you can buy say.... create glahk for it and then it would be able to create a glahk.
  15. Rots stun. They are like much stronger glahks. Stunning is very useful.
  16. It is useful. Rotghoroths are probably the best endgame creation and you can get them as no canister loyalist and rebel.
  17. Most of those people probably just thought that the Shapers would obliterate the army and therefore didn't side with them.
  18. Yes it would be like an advancement of the battle beta. It should probably have a slight advantage though. Like a higher chance to stun. And higher damage. That would make it a perfect combination with the oter creation I thought of. Quote: At the end of the loyalist ending you were leading an army of strange humanoid creations. Maybe these will be like smaller, weaker Battle Alphas but they have high dex & parry so they are hard to hit. This might make a reasonably useful battle creation. It would have to have less chance to be hit than Rots though, because otherwise no rebels would use them.
  19. For areas filled with rogues, I'd like to see guards from nearby towns, come and occupy the area once you've cleaned it.
  20. Battle Gamma wouldn't be retarded. It could be the highest level creation for loyal shapers. They would have high damage, high chance to stun and high HP.
  21. It's very addictive. Except the beginning. Especially when you play with a new strategy. I've probably played G3 to times 6 on torment 4 normal. I've had it since June.
  22. The same exact typo for all 3 games? I don't think so.
  23. I'm not sure, but I think they allow you to read a letter in the MOT.
