  1. Yeah, got the compiler we talked about, and copied some tutorial material from various sites. Now all I need, is free time. Thanks a bunch, mate.
  2. I have the same problem as Izzannor. Meh, I can do HTML already ( ), so would studying a bit PHP do me good right now, in order to learn to Avernumscript? If so, UA, I'll meet you on AIM, you're gonna have to help me.
  3. Oh.. thanks for the offer, but, meh, this "scenario" will be just for testing the various features BoA has brought us, and won't most likely be released, ever. So, you'd really be better of designing something yourself. Something that'll eventually get finished.
  4. How come it's always you who first points out that I'm an incompetent fool? And I have just begun writing dialogue for the only NPC in the whole scenario. Yey.
  5. Yeah, indeed. Not that it's ever going to be released. Or would you want to play something titled 'The Manvalley Adventures?' Nay, this post was to both advertise the piece of whateveryouliketoinserthere I'm currently drawing outdoors for, and to say that the Editor both looks (the tiles) and generally is awful. It took me five minutes to find button with which to change from floor to terrain, or whatever, I'm Finnish. Help-files are for wussies.
  6. GF 2, mainly because I never really liked wandering the lack of people to speak to in GF 1.
  7. Hmh, the problem with the game itself didn't fix itself when I re-started the computer, but the installer DID. Yey, BoE works again!
  8. ..what the hell has happened to my BoE. It worked fine yesterday evening. Now, that I turned my computer on and tried to run it, nothing. The game opens, but in some screwy, twisted way. All I get is a blank screen, with the WINDOWS-header, not the BoE-one. After a moment, I tried ctrl+alt+del, only to see that the program wasn't responding. Meh, I waited for a few minutes, thinking it'd load eventually. This didn't happen. Being a computer genius, I tried a few times more, still nothing. Not even the Scen.-editor or PC-editor would open. Re-installing from CD won't work, either. The installer just freezes. Hints? Clues? Pointers?
  9. Damn you, Morgs, for taking the first post. Also, yeah cool now soon you mac ppl get ta try teh boa while we win ppl hafta wait for months
  10. Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't "Godzilla" fit to a Drakon better than to a Fyora/Cryoa? I just realized that this was GF 1, not GF 2. That is all.
  11. So you're asking Jeff to turn Geneforge into an Age of Empires-clone?
  12. Just burn the game on a cd, and then move the files to your new system. Easiest that way, and won't even unregister your game.
  13. Sorry to sound sexist, but having to play as a woman when playing the Agent took a lot of the fun out of the character for me. Just couldn't really get into the game, because it didn't feel like role-playing at all. Likewise, several female players have balked at the only graphic for the guardian being a huge burly creature with an undeniably masculine build. It HAS been said, kthxbai.
  14. It's an angry englishman, who's rage, when leashed out, will kill everything around. Mainly because of the accent.
  15. For Christ's sakes. His/her mouse is already configured! He/she was just telling that Geneforge doesn't approve of this, but works like the mouse was still configured for right-handed!
  16. E-mail SpidWeb, providing the info you registered the game with, and they'll send you new codes. Jeff is very kind with these kind of things.
  17. Quote: I have a notebook with both a touchpad and a USB mouse. Both are configured for left-handed. But Geneforge2 doesn't care about these settings. Read. Also, yes, the mouse is probably on the left of thekeyboard, or so I would logically think. And I'm left-handed too, though I use the mouse 'normally'.
